I would keep Neal in for Fridays match though he looked strong last week. I think we have a really good chance of winning this game against Leeds, only because all their forwards are either banned or injured. Hope we can get a good turnout.

Sneyd and Spencer to miss out me thinks. I like Sidlow a lot he shows glimpses of class every now and then, but he's far too soft and some of his defence this season has been woeful for the size of the bloke, a couple of weeks off could be the kick up the backside he needs. The correct choice made by the coaching staff IMO

Leeds being forced to play a more expansive game due to injuries in the forwards combined with Salfords weakness out wide in defence is not the ideal scenario imo.

Yeah he was the week before as well to be fair, but he'll get his chance off the bench inter changing with Godwin. If we put Dan at 13 he'll be doing far too much work in defence therefore won't be as effective going forward. Smith has started the season on fire, but for the good of the team as whole starting him on the bench then bringing his enthusiasm, speed and kicking game on after 20-25 minutes could be really effective IMO. |

Yeah, spotted that myself yesterday  . Hate t00ls like that who think British Rugby League revolves around the top 5 clubs. Would be great to ram those words back down his throat!
On first glance looking at that Leeds squad you think "great, no Peacock, Cross etc, etc)" then you look at the rest of the squad & think ", bit of strength in depth there"! Bit like Wigan last week.
Not expecting too much tomorrow just another improvement on the last 2 matches, anything above that is a massive bonus. |

Jo bought me one of those tape to mp3 thingys the other year but not got round to doing it yet. I really should give it a go and then try find some software to clean up the audio files of crackles etc.... |
