So what are the options, well I think the only decisions to be made are Full Back, Stand Off and reserve hooker, which on all 3 accounts is between Gaskell, Sneyd & McGoldrick! Unless Nobby is thinking of moving Fages, which would be left field.

Much as I'm a massive Evalds fan I think not drafting Owen in is a mistake, worse case scenario is Godwin gets injured early and then were stuck with no decent hooker for the remainder of the game.

Looks like Whitehead isn't going to happen before the cut off, though as I said elsewhere would be good for the Doc to bring him into the fans bar pre game to introduce him to the fans.

Surely at some point Gaskell has to be given a go at his best position at number 6?! Against his own club who are having nightmares in that position this is the perfect opportunity to put him there so he can show Saints the mistake he will obviously feel they made letting him come to us!!

When you're paying McGoldrick what we are you can understand why they're persisting with him. Awful bit of business from us.

I'd be happy with the squad if Owen was in for McGoldrick, Foran and Mauro being dropped is a bonus though.

With Mauro and Foran dropped I think we can make the scoreline a bit more respectable tomorrow.

Can we please put this to bed. Gibson played hooker for us a few years ago and it was one of the most inept performance at acting half I have ever seen. If we are saying gibson can play hooker then so can Griffin by that admission.

We could all play "a bit of wing", what has Nobby been smoking? IMO Niall has the potential to become a superb fullback and hopefully we'll see some of that tonight. If he's on the wing he's wasted!
