Personally I am sick and tired of the warblings of many of our so called fans on this forum. They know who they are.

Sure I may well be in a minority on here but for me this season has been the best for over 10 years. I have seen attacking RL of the highest class, some very skilful play from an enterprising back line, some outstanding tries, individual brilliance and terrific wins against such as Warrington, Hull, Catalans, Huddersfield, Bradford & HKR ALL of who had a Salary Cap maybe TWICE as much as ours.

We have done this too without two of our most expensive signings - McPherson & Moon who have been out for nigh on half the season.

The coaching is there for all to see & on top of this we have an Under 20s team showing remarkable ability under the guidance of Alan Hunte and I can assure you that there are some real gems in that side for the future.

The financial situation has been well chronicled & we are playing at the behest of the Directors and I for one would totally understand if they decided enough was enough & it was time for them to walk away.

They do their job without pay, spending long hours in trying to succeed for OUR pleasure. In addition the financial perils inherent in all clubs running at a BIG loss & the continued bitterness & bile thrown at them by some on here will be surely pushing them ever more certainly to the precipice.

We really dont know when we are doing well. We are fighting well above our weight and we are currently still above teams who have spent far more than us in recruitment.

So for all the Barrack Room Lawyers we have on here such as Dante, Programme Thrower, Eccles, Lance & others - consider this - if you get your wish and JAW packs in - there will be NO club to support. So get those chips off your shoulders and get behind the club for once - end the bitterness - and work to the future or we will only have Sale to watch in the next few years.

What is it we have achieved. If this year is an achievement then that's worrying we have no defence at times we have played good rugby this year. So what will are achievement be next year not to get the wooden spoon as we will hardly have a team. Untrue. Salford are near full cap. As a giants fan i am aware that Wild got a 'bumper' contract when he joined you.

a few years ago you were behind many other clubs but the signings of Wild, Feka, Anderson, Moon, McPherson and notably Patten and Holdsworth (both 6 figure salaries) have significantly closed the gaps.

the grape juice must be strong in Yorkshire, Salford's wage bill is less than a million, Wild got offered a longer term contract from Salford on similar money to Shuddersfield but over a longer period means in total that is more money, now do you understand. Feka, nobody wanted him so not as dear as you think, Patten again offered a longer contract than Shuddersfield had, Holdsworth you could well be right, but he would be the ony one.

For the last year at The Willows Salford announced that we were significantly increasing the wage bill in an attempt to end The Willows era on a high. We are still paying these contracts now as most were 2 or 3 year deals. Whilst it is unlikely that we are close to the cap, I think it is fair to say we are currently at our highest wage bill in the superleague era.

you are near the full cap and that maybe why you are not flush with cash. Contracts have to be committed to years in advance so if the income line does not improve you are stuffed. You get situations like the smith sale and holdsworth being touted around the place.

If it suits you to pretend that patten and holdsworth are not on 100k+ and that there are not several players on 60 to 80 K then that is fine. And feka costs you plenty. The real stupidity was signing so many guys on overs for 3 years.

That's a good clarion call for the extra 4,000 fans wanted for next season,we could finish in the bottom four again
and we have over achieved as for the under twenties If we get four to the first team we will have done very well,then when they get a good agent,who says you are going nowhere here then they will be off.

Why would a club risk big wages when they were unsure we would get the support. That is club suicide. But saying that are club don't have a clue half the time. Surly you make sure you can sell the product before you jump in to big contracts. From the talk on here we will be losing fans not gaining them. So does this mean most of team is leaving. I hate having go at are club been season ticket holder for years but the club don't seem to care about us any more . They have not got a clue and I am sorry but fed up of it all I work hard and at moment this is the only thing I have lost interest with. So sorry if people don't liking hearing it. I need every penny can't afford to waste money on a club that don't tell supporters the truth also it is run appalling. To get investors you need to show decent running of a club so we have no chance be causing this club is ran appallingly. Why would anyone be interested.
