I was hoping they would offer a postal service for this edition. Planning a big afternoon/evening and was hoping that the club would post out copies so I could keep it in perfect condition rather than risk creases and spilling beer over it! I would be happy to pay an extra quid or two for it to be posted to me.

What's happening to the Willows are you leave?

Not sure, i think that Swinton might be having one more year there as they have no groung and they are on sky tonight live at the Willows.

No after September thats it, the ground will be demolished for housing
Swinton will be moving to agecroft for next season.

Nowt to do with memories not being that fond, there's just not that many of us that holds those memories.

Sadly I think the fact we're playing Catalans (no disrespect to them BTW) may not grab the imagination of Joe Public, if it had been Wigan, Saints, Warrington or Leeds then I would have expected a sell out instead I think around 8k is all we'll get.

I dont think the opposition is a big issue regarding our floating or long lost followers. The difference is obviously if we had played say Wigan or Warrington who are topping the league they would have brought upto 3k with them.

Tenner admission is more of a selling point than the opposition for the last game at the Willows. I know a lot of people that are planning on coming down for the final game that only go a couple of games a season and reduced ticket prices will influence them. Really happy that the final game is a Sunday too.

Im more than happy for us to be playing Catalans and although we aint going to put the ground full signs up I will be disappointed if we dont get 7k.

Am I missing something here? Is it a tenner for everyone (with the exception of season ticket holders) as I was thinking of inviting a few people down for the last game but one or two of them are elderly and would need to sit in the main stand, I've been on the Reds site and it says it £10 for the centre of the Main stand (say Block 4) but to sit in Block 8 which I would suspect isn't as good a view it will cost you £23!

It would have been a tremendous gesture to all you salford fans to make the last game there free enterance or maybe a fiver for anyone ,anywhere in the ground.

Yup, I'm in exactly the same boat.

Blocks 1/2/3 and 7/8/9 at either end of the main stand are £23 adult/£18 concs/£13 junior but the middle three blocks (4/5/6) are £10/£10/FREE?!

My 'guests' are certainly going to be sitting comfortably (and cheaply!) in the middle of the Main Stand though!

Marshy1, It would have felt a little better if those Swinton fans had shown a bit more respect on Thursday night at the willows, went to watch Swinton win the championship ended up supporting Keighley due to vermin Swinton fans who continually shouted there vermin about & against Salford & its fans, would have thought we had risen from the gutter the way they behaved.

I thought the Lions crowd were pretty good personally.

Know the lads I went with agreed too.

Are you seriously trying to tell me salford fans have never "shouted vermin" against any other rugby team, I think the answer to that is not.I have witnessed Slaford fans venom at other clubs first hand and sadly it is usually done by the minority whom as well you know don't give a true reflection of the true fans base.

In any case thank you for going to watch the Lions, sadly the result didn't go the way we wanted but i think it is just a matter of time before we win the Championship.

My £20 still says they wont.

I'm sincerely hoping that at the last game the stewards don't trundle through the Shed 10 minutes after the game finishes to move people out.

What I worry about with the last game is if we'll fluff our lines and play like stratled rabbits caught in the headlights.

I'd hate to have the chance of making 8th by beating Catalans and blow both the big send off and a chance of knock out football.

We all know deep down that with the way our final season has panned out that it's a distinct possibility.
