Both half backs were disappointing. There was no spark or an ability to beat a man. Defensive effort immense but need some guile to get runners away.

Immense game defensively but I think everyone knew that today would be a Kiwi victory, RL has a passion for a decider rather than a dead rubber.

Bateman wouldn't be in the squad never mind playing if he wasn't a Wigan player. Williams in the halves is not the answer as he couldn't unlock a defence with a skeleton key.

Best stadium I've visited in the UK, £5 for a pie aside there was not one thing wrong with the venue. For me the RFL should play as many games there as possible.

Thought our halves were poor. Williams is definitely not ready for this level yet. Forwards were immense with the exception of our second-rows who were pretty quiet in both departments. An enjoyable game but both sides were reluctant to show flair in case it cost them the game, which was a shame. I think the decider will be a much more open affair.
