That 1st half performance was absymal, Wigan could of scored of every play if they wanted to. FWIW I did not pay the entrance fee last night to see a Salford victory, I came hoping they would continue to improve (which they did not) Pay with pride and passion and run the ball hard (Only Walne did) Play like they wanted to be at Salford. In my opinion many know they are not cut out for SL level and know they will not be playing at Salford next season, so the Jekyll and Hyde performances will continue. To accuse me of being a child and on the shandy show the maturity level of yourselves to be honest. This is professional sport at the end of the day and they are being paid to perform and on weekly basis.

I am sorry I have missed your seminars on motivational speaking and I hope you are not employed,in any capacity,in the role of increasing attendances to support SCR.
Last night they were outplayed from start to finish by a Wigan side that were very good and very professional.To the extent that even though there was never any danger of them not winning by a large margin Wigan still resorted to professionalism/gamesmanship when it suited them.None more so than when they pulling back the Salford player off the ball which resulted in more 'family friendly' chants from the followers of SCR when it was not seen or acted upon by James Childs.
Our players played with good spirit throughout - despite the inevitable.Their lack of passion and pride resulting in a try at the death.
As for improvement - they were nilled at home by Wigan in round 1 and lost by 42 points.So scoring and losing by 40 points is an improvement.
There are more serious things to worry about:2 problems awaiting decisions by Red Hall next week and how the family friendly supporters can start to behave in an attractive manner for new supporters to attend Barton and continue attending.

Salford are 3rd in the league for offloads, much higher than Wigan who are near the bottom. That could give an indication of the style of play. It could also reflect the fact that Salford make less metres per carry than any other team and need to force the pass to get anywhere. I’d like to know the algorithm Sky uses for their pseudo-Margin Meter. The previous one was put together from a economics academic from a university I can’t remember.
