| Can't believe that there isn't one single post yet about Friday night's game yet? The game pretty much mirrored our early season meeting at Saints where we were the dominant side in the first half and then completely capitulated in the second. Thought last night we played really well when playing into the 'new' shed but our frustrating inability to convert possesion into points once again reared its ugly head. How many times have we seen this happen this season, and you just know that if you don't convert your chances that it inevitably comes back to bite you on the bum. Second half defensively we were shocking and again how many more times do we have to witness the opposition always winning out when the ball is hoisted in the air? What are the players afraid of? I've never for one moment thought that we would make a top ten place - even after two excellent wins over Huddersfield and Catalans, as the only consistent thing about is our inconsistency!

| On the positive side I heard John from Salford telling someone he wasn't coming next week on the way out of the ground. Every cloud, and all that.

| We all share your frustration! Clearly teams have worked out how to beat Salford? Wait until the 70 minute onwards in a game put the high ball up, hey presto its easy.
On the positive side great first 40 (Again)

| It could have been better if Jodis Broughton hadn't been obstructed when chasing the ball down towards the end of the first half, the action was right in front of the whistler blower who deemed nothing wrong, we score there and it is 16 - 0 to us, may have made a difference. But the weather was awful once again with a wind blowing all over so the high kick was the right choice but we kept letting it bounce and each time it didn't bounce our way but ended in Saints hands and tries.
Expect the same on Friday, some catching practice needed.

| I was astounded that the block didn't get pulled up, if anything it should have been a penalty try but then again the ref missed us knocking on at the PTB where it not only bounced and rolled but the hooker stopped waiting for the whistle.
I thought to be fair to us the high balls split the defense and the bounce was very unfortunate.
What really really annoyed me was that I think we all knew Saints were going in on the stroke if half time, it's started to happen pretty regularly and it gives the opposition the hope going into the break where our heads seem to drop.

| Yes, the obstruction not being given was a bad decision, but we still had chances to keep Saints at arm's length.
Saying the bounce of the ball was unfortunate is, to my mind, ignoring the fact that we shouldn't have been letting it bounce at all. Patten had a shocker and dropped some regulation high balls. And as for the mess he made of that grubber...
Once again we failed to take advantage of a good start and lacked the ability to finish a team and keep them out. If we could finish a game as well as we start them then we'd be in a much better position in the table.
