Hi guys not been on these boards for a while with work comitments and a new baby. (stress) I was just wondering with the new stadium on the horizon and a new 3 year franchise ahead of us, i was just wondering where is the big money JW said we will have next year to compete.? Have we any new investors will the stadium make us money? We really need to turn the screw now and start competing with the big boys or i feel the stadium will become another LSV. Whats everyone elses thoughts on the matter?.
P.s not having a go at the club in any way shape or form just asking the question alot of reds fans would like answered.
The only way Salford are going to compete financially with the 'big boys' is if the club can increase it's fan base, hospitality income and club sponsorship in the new stadium. If this doesn't happen then the club will need to attract a wealthy benefactor(s) to join the board.(Which is not uncommon for Superleague clubs playing in new stadiums, as history has proved)
Keep the faith you never know what could be around the corner.
What big money is this you talk of? Are you going back to the early days of the casino retail units and hotel that were going to make us rich? Being tenants of the new ground the only money we will have are as already stated above - attendance receipts, corporate hospitality, advertising, and club shop sales.
They'll be no "big money" unless one of us wins the euro millions
