| I know its a topic thats been covered before but I cant believe that some kind of commemorative game isnt being organised for the final game at your historic home.If as seems likely Catalan Dragons will be the final game at the Willows im sure it will be a great occasion but surely something with a little more imagination would be more fitting. As Swinton were your first opponents at the Willows surely it would be fitting if they were your last. Both sides could play in a special commerative strip similar to those worn in the very first game, these could be auctioned off for charity after the match and a limited number could be made available for fans.A number of past players could also take part in the game itself using masters rules whereby age dictates the level of contact involved.

| there was something said over the tannoy at fridays game saying 'there is an additional game so listen out for more details soon'....seems the catalans game won't be the last at the willows.

| At Warrington we had at least 3 last games at Wilderspool.
There was the last game of the league season in 2003 against Wakey where Appo got a hat-trick and the win clinched us the top six place (that should have been the one to bow out).
Then they had a Warrington v New Zealand 'A' game which was the last official game at Wilderspool just after the season ended.
Then we were playing pre-season friendlies there in early 2004. Made it a bit of a damp squib really. I remember Sean Mellor on the tannoy saying at one of them "and the next 'last game' at Wilderspool will be on...."

| I think a game against New Zealand (pre-4 nations) would be ideal, making the most of the Lance Todd connection.
