I have no idea whether Robbie Paul is correct.
However the fact that the Club was good to him is no defence.
That might be a reason why he should show more respect and keep quiet.
But ,it doesn't change the facts,if indeed thats what they are.
Somehow I find it difficult to believe but why would he say it?
I saw this on Sunday and thought at the time that it was a little underhand, as someone else has just mooted RP is looking to further his media career (one which for me he should abandon as he is as wooden as a Thunderbirds puppet when on TV) and it wouldnt surprise me if he looks at Salford as a perfect vehicle for his long term coaching ambitions.
Any corolation between Basil being his coach and Simms his best mate being at Salford perhaps???
