Plastic fans. They will all disappear until the next chance of glory, and salford will sell about 3000 season tickets like they did last time as well.

They only usually bring a few hundred of their diehards to our place despite it only being a short drive away. To be fair they were loud, but most of their chants today were just rehashed Man Utd songs, and they didn't just get off when the final hooter sounded, they stayed way beyond that to applaud their side.

Happens to all clubs. 2009, we had an average of circa 10,000 then all of a sudden we take 30,000 to Wembley? Got a soft spot for Salford, hope they get taken over by that rich local geezer and they really take off.

Huddersfield FANS do turn up-the same few every week. it’s the glory supporters that don’t.
Now salford need to work hard to get at least some of those that jump on the bandwagon to buys season tickets and turn up every week because they failed to do that last time, in fact their regular support reduced.

Tbf to Salford it was bad luck that their Grand Final appearance was then followed up by a 2020 season behind closed doors and then a Cup Final behind closed doors. As always RL doesn't get much luck.

Salford have always had a decent away following (at Leigh anyway) compared to their home gates. It just multiplies when they are doing well, just like any other sports team's fanbase would. It's not that complicated really.....
