Great signing and will be a good place for Atkins to sign off. Atkins along with a decent forward or two and they’ll be up there next year.

I think he could have got through one more season with us. Sad to see him go, Having said that, a great asset for York.. Good luck Ryan.

I think the same thing Redscat ! Always looked after hiself and when he played did'nt look out of place, one more year in him i would say.

Agree 100% , York will always be like Wakey are inSL, with the so called better clubs above them, hope Fordy gets the success he deserves, got a good team on paper, new stadium, every thing is there for him to succeed.

Maybe at Super League level he'd just got to that stage of not being quick enough any more to be a centre but not done enough grunt work to put him in the second row. I liked him as a player and I hope he does well at York.

Yep...League Express saying that it's for next season, so chances are we will see him in action again for us this season.

Atkins has always spoken highly of Wakefield and says he owes us his career after the Bradford move. I would have liked one more season with crowds what I've seen this year he is still a top class centre and at times shows Lynn what top class centre play is.
