Gonna by difficult to get the lower league teams playing.

why not they could manage one game surly if not then it would be a bye

They need to come off furlough to train, prep and play a game.

Not worth it for (potentially) 1 game.

I think MC mentioned at the Q&A night, if Featherstone are unable to play that fixture, we would have a bye, and play the our outstanding fixture against Catalans, that was postponed due to that storm we had.

Even if PT they would be furloughed by their clubs, regardless of whether or not their "other" employer had them working or not.

You would think the lower league clubs would only compete in challenge cup if the championship/ league 1 starts up again this season. Can’t see them coming out of furlough just for challenge cup it won’t be worth it for them.

Its not about their other jobs. If Fev take them off furlough to train they have to pay the full wage. And can't go back. That might not be worth it if they can't get any income to cover it in other games. If I were Fev I'd take the offer of a Bye and come back when its financially viable.
