RIP to family and friends.
I was too young to see Bill play but as a former GB international before he joined Hull in 1975 he had already amassed winners medals in every competition and played in approximately 20 finals during his epic career!
Helped the club, then in the second division, to get to the Players No.6 Final where we were pipped by mighty Widnes, he then joined Widnes for the 76/77 season were he finished his 16 year career with a CC runners up, Players no.6 runners up and a county cup win.
For us he made 32 appearances, scoring 4 tries, 7 goals and 4 drop-goals.
