| Why won't the RFL announce it officially ? There obviously won't be relegation as the 2 'overseas' clubs who play in our league don't know if they can play any home games in their country/home base. I doubt very much there will be promotion with no relegation, as the championship shows no signs of restarting any time soon. Might as well cancel the inferior bottom 2 leagues fixtures , and just let Sooper League finish it's season, if they can sort out the pay dispute amongst some clubs.

Not true. Jean carried the flag for an Anglo French league, as absurd as that was and has turned out to be. Silent H now carries that exact same flag which is fair enough people are allowed to dream. You have now got your reaction whoever you are so no more please

Well Toronto appear to be part of the issue here. You would think that the Superleague clubs would want to see the season out and have Toronto relegated, but they won at Huddersfield in style in a game the Fartown coach wanted his team to win as Ken Davey is a massive Challenge Cup Fan.
Meanwhile HKR's thin squad started to collapse, so the last thing SL want is Rovers going down. They were relegated once before when they did not come bottom, and Hudgell did not like this one bit and rightly so. If Rovers went down again Hudgell and Crossland could leave. They have tried to leave before when Tony Larvin made an offer.
This is all about keeping HKR secure in Superleague, not protecting TWP from relegation because the Transatlantic League is the future. What the SL clubs are not prepared to do is give the £500,000 parachute payment to Toronto if they go down which is in the rules. Instead they want to give that to the Championship. Matthew Shaw reports on the issues in RL & LE in a "stop press" article. Go and buy one guys
P.S. I don't know how Toronto will get under the salary cap, but it may involve maximising the Marquee player allowance and still running with a thin squad because I think the players they talk about signing are one thing the players they end up with are another. They want Myler and Ward from Leeds, this may be these lads last pay day so I don't see "ridiculous deals"?

This being clubs wanting to cut players contracts because they aren't playing? Hull players have agreed a 15% pay cut for three months. Other clubs are apparently looking to sign players with offers for next year which rankles with the existing players who are facing cuts. Warrington suggest cuts should be greater for the bigger earners. That being the first 30% of pay being protected, with earnings over £100,000 being reduced by 25%.
If they don't get back on the field they may find they lose even more.

Aaron Bowers opinion is pretty sound. The 2020 season has been corrupted to the point relegation would be unfair. Which i agree with. The only teams that want to complete the season in the Championship only want to continue to try get promoted and none of these teams offer more on or off the field than Toronto.
https://twitter.com/TOwolfpack/status/1 ... 79267?s=09
Given the above agreement, between TWP ESL and the UK government there will no desire to lose the wolfpack before the end of the current deal when the structure can be changed.
The cherry on top is the 11th share ESL teams get with TWP in the league. If left up to the Superleague clubs Toronto will alway be in.

Indeed over the next 10 seasons more NA clubs will replace English clubs until Ian Lenegan's Wigan get the whole of the SKY money and never lose a game again........

To be fair. Only one NA club will bring more to SL other than Catalans and the big 3 northwest clubs

Sorry Wayne is that the over riding rule you have invented to check people's credentials. My first games were watching Leeds and Hunslet going as a kid with dad or my mates big brothers. once I could get around on my own I was off on the buses to Wakey, Fev and Dewsbury, and Doncaster which is a club in mine and many people's hearts. You may remember the Yorkshire TV documentary on their serial losing "another bloody sunday". First time at Odsal a great memory. I saw Bill Ramsey chaired off there after David Watkins magic had seemingly won the cup match and Ramsey had other ideas. Bill recently died so I hope to go to his funeral and stand and watch outside see if I can recognise some of the Leeds greats who will attend. Bill was at Geoff Gunneys funeral a year or so back. With mates back in the seventies when we got cars we went to all the grounds. Worky and Haven being great trips........
First trip to Hilton Park was maybe a Friday in the 1970's under lights?? - IIRC there was a coal mine over the road
I could go on and on but this [uain't your business is it[/u? It seems your business is "Trollfinder general"
Now [uare you real Wayne[/u just because you claim to follow a club? All your doing at the Mo is trolling me?

Perhaps you have had too many run ins with wrencat as your cool image appears to be slipping some what, tbh I couldn't give a toss who you support it was just a flippant remark in the context of your comment regarding the Silent H, maybe people could accuse you of trolling him because it seems in your world everybody that disagrees with you is a troll, a word that you now use on a regular basis in your vocabulary which I dare bet you'd never heard of or knew what it mean't 6 month ago, just in the context of your post, I can confirm that I don't have the desire to troll you or to stalk you either, I quote you on the content of your post one way or the other, and one other thing I can confirm my name is not Wayne.
Just as an aside you mention Odsal, I went there in 1960 with a friend from school and his dad to watch the top 4 play off final between Wakefield and Wigan, as I walked through the turnstile I looked down and saw a shiny half crown on the floor which swiftly ended up in my pocket when we went 3 nil up I thought things couldn't get any better, that was until Boston crippled Neil Fox and we then lost 27-3, I could have got it from Wikipedia but the half crown was real

You could until you realised you hadn't a clue about me. The first visit to Hilton Park was when the Parsonage Colliery was closing, and second time when the railway line had later become a by-pass when we finally got round to going again. I haven't been to the LSV yet but look forward to it.

I have lived on Gods earth for the thick end of 73 years and to be honest until you unfortunately found your way on to this forum a few month ago I did not have a clue that you existed disappointing as it is it's something I'll have to learn to live with, To be perfectly honest I have a yellow band come across my screen when you post, unfortunately other people keep quoting you which to a large degree makes it pointless having an ignore button the last yellow band being the exception as I sneaked a look because I knew you wouldn't resist a pop, there are the odd posts of yours that I find hard to disagree with, but to be perfectly honest with all the plots and sub plots going round in your head, it gets a bit tedious on the other hand you could always turn to writing, the book How To Win Friends and influence People by Dale Carnegie springs to mind try reading it it might inspire you to better things.

Thanks for the admission that I know what I'm talking about Wayne. As for plots and sub-plots these are of course real, and if your unsure of anything just let me know and I will point you to where the information came from. At the moment your Club is disappointed over the block on promotion YET AGAIN. Sports Lawyer Richard Cramer suggests today in League express that perhaps some sort of Championship could still be "plotted" out with the winner going up into a 13 club Superleague 2021.
I then assume two would be relegated next season. Or maybe one with TWP being kicked out anyway for the English SL Lenegan suggested come 2022. Interestingly the two clubs who are most keen for promotion were the two clubs I saw fight out a fantastic Championship Grand Final at Headingley some years back now - do you remember the game? Were you there?
