| Just been reading an article by Martin Sadler,(league Express) regarding fans paying approx £12, to have their photo stuck onto a seat in the stadium for the television games. As there aren’t that many seats at BV that can be seen on camera, we’d need cut outs attached to crush barriers. If this could be done for a similar price I’d be up for it, and pay for a couple more, to add a bit of humour. If the club could do this without any legal bother, I’d go for some well known names that have disappeared. How about Lord Lucan, Mr Blobby, Sheargar, and of course Boris Johnson,(where’s he disappeared to). I think that would be £60 quid well spent including my mug on show. Let’s see what other names you can come up with.

| I think the NRL failed to do thorough tests because they missed Dominic Cummings and Harold Shipman but I suppose they are not that well known in Australia. I think other than that it is a good idea subject to cost of course.
The NRL also features crowd noise on their coverage which I must admit helps the watcher forget the grounds are basically empty. They even use the team squad members as ball boys.

| The club could offer season ticket holders a free cut out to use for each home game taking place behind closed doors. This may encourage some to waive any refund for games missed.

In that case then BLM, I’ll make sure the club put your cut out next to Sheargar, and offer a prize to anyone who can spot Sheargar.

Can't see that placating anyone who is considering asking for a refund. Think a chucnk of ST holders would pay £12 to have one, though I think £12 is undercooking the value.

| Like the idea of some crowd noise (if we have to play behind closed doors), as long as they dont include the cow bell when we play Shudds

Agreed, if some fans want/need a refund, a cardboard cut-out wouldn't change that.
I also doubt the club have cash to give away stuff.
If they were available at roughly cost price and then season ticket holders would get to "attend" all games for free whereas the rest of us would pay per game to have our image present.
It'd probably be more of a fan engagement exercise than a money-making one but it could take off.
A nice personalised memento of the 2020 'season'.

I quoted £12, due to league Express reporting the Aussie club charged 22 Australian dollars for the photos being stuck onto seating. I think it would cost more for the cardboard cut outs. I ththe club will have to make a decision soon, if it intends using this idea. I’m sure BLM, would volunteer to put them out on match day, then he’ll go hide somewhere within the ground and watch the game.

I reckon if the club did something like this it would be a good fundraiser.

With the amount of "movement" BLM made in the Paul Gallen game, BLM could take his place on the North Stand and no-one would notice the difference.....

| Wigan fans can pay extra for their cardboard cut-outs to be on discs that spin round to show the fan's backs, 20 mins before the end of the game.
It's called the "Wigan Walk" option.
