| Officially postponed, for anybody who's already purchased Wembley tickets they'll be valid if and when game goes ahead subject to government C-19 advice.

| It used to be the most watched game in RL e.g. 82=95,000 used to be the crowd whoever played until the late 80's. Now nobody watches the competition

You are talking of the days when many supporters of clubs other than the the two finalists went to Wembley, but no longer do so because of the cost and rip off of going to London.
The crowds have also gone down since the new Stadium was built which no longer has the same atmosphere of the old Wembley and which is now geared more to Football.
Even the finals held at Cardiff and Edinburgh had more atmosphere than the present Wembley!

I’d give my left arm to have it return to Cardiff, permanently. Brilliant city, perfect stadium location. The travel is a nightmare but it’s so much more worth it than soulless Brent.

| Cardiff and Edinburgh are both a better experience for fans than Wembley, Cardiff better stadium location and decent centre bars and pubs but does not have the available accomodation or transport links. Edinburgh a bit of a trek to the stadium from the centre, but the city is fantastic for a weekend and plenty of available accomodation.

| Have a shortened season to finish SL. Give the Challenge Cup along with the SL trophy to the winners at OT. Winner takes all.

| Heh! When the CCF was in Cardiff, I lived only 25 miles away, so of course I loved it. But even without my obvious bias at the time, it was way more fun than Wembley, which especially then, was a right dump (the area, not the stadium). And it was nice to hear Welsh voices in the crowd enjoying the game.

Not as many now go for the weekend like they used to do because of the way that hotel prices are inflated, especially in London and getting there is now terrible on the M1 and M42.
As for Murrayfield being far from the city centre, is it any different than Wembley from the centre of London.
Cardiff is by far the best location for the final as the Stadium as there is a abundance of bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants, even shops all within walking distance of the Stadium which creates a far better atmosphere around the Stadium than what you get at the new Wembley.
As for accomodation, there are now numerous hotels in Cardiff, Newport and Swansea which are only a short ride either by tour coach or train and no different than staying in places like Rickmansworth, St Albans, Uxbridge etc as being the case for many supporters at Wembley.
In fact, in these harder economic times, I feel sure that most supporters would prefer to go to a Stadium here in the North of England if it had the same capacity and facilities as Cardiff or indeed London and Edinburgh.

For this season that would work Ruddy. I would be in favour of a shortened season culminating in the Challenge Cup final at old Trafford a month before the Grand Final would be.

| If Manchester United redevelop the South Stand as planned to increase their capacity, the Challenge Cup Final may not have to go to Wembley and would be a sell out, irrespective of who was in the final.
Many no longer have the money or even the inclination to go to rip off London these days.

| I've said it before and I'll say it again, unless something can be done about those terrible in-goals, OT is a poor place to play league.

It’s a minor issue imo.
It’s a thoroughly good place to watch sport and more often than not allows for a good atmosphere.
In the modern game I’d take 1 Night for an Old Trafford GF over 10 Wembley CC finals.

| Hold it at the Ethiad, proved to be a great venue for rugby league and affordable travel wise for everyone, great accessibility.

| I agree it's otherwise great, Azul, and I prefer it to Wembley too, for atmosphere, transport links, and the rest, but that's the deal-breaker for me. The Ethiad, although it's location is not so good, is a better surface for the sport.

The capacity of the Etihad is only 55,000 plus with hardly any other facilities around the Stadium, while the capacity of Old Trafford is 75,000 plus with numerous other facilities in the area which give it a far better atmosphere prior to any game.
I know which I prefer, irrespective of any "in goal" areas!
