I have been wasting my time whilst bored during lockdown redesigning some of the clubs kits, Im going to try do all SL clubs then some others aswell... anyway these are my thoughts so far, apologies to Saints fans for my choice but I thought it would be an interesting one to resurrect

A similar Trinity one was used last year as a Magic shirt, based roughly on the early 90's kit. Not a fave, to be honest, there are far better Trinity variants out there in my opinion. However, it still looks smart and shows just how hard it is to go wrong with the red, white and blue colour palette, though we have occasionally managed to!

Leeds kit is another colour/design can't really go wrong.

Hate the Saints one, white with a bold red V is what Saints should always be IMHO.

Love the Hudds one, couldn't be anything other than an RL shirt.

Ditto the Cas one, why Cas insists on playing in dayglow orange is beyond me, I know it's not what most of their fans want. Looks classy, something Cas kits rarely do these days.

Salford one is OK.

Good efforts all the same.

Ta, to be honest they are all based on 80s/90s designs on purpose as that's when I started to follow the game

There is someone doing it on Twitter too. The designs you have both done are fantastic on the whole, and surprising that clubs choose to go against their history - Cas in Orange for example

The Wire kits look decent. I recall that most fans hated the 'Christmas Tree' away kit at the time, except for kids/teenagers who went out and bought it in their droves.

I thought this was probably the more 'iconic' Wire away kit of the 90s, given we had so many great performances in it, but I always preferred horizontal stripes/hoops to vertical/soccer stripes.

An absolute classic

1989 was when I started supporting Trinity. When that kit came in it was massively unpopular though now it’s regarded with some reverence. It was one of the first times that a founder club had strayed massively from its 60’s/70’s designs, quite brave I suppose though as say we were not the first.

It actually had a mid life upgrade (most kits ran 2-3 seasons then) and got amongst other things a blue ‘V’ collar which made it look way better hint hint.

I started watching Warrington when that was the Trinity kit and to me that is THE Wakefield shirt!

To me it always seems strange when they go back to mostly white. I especially hated this one, which looked like an air mail envelope.

Can't see an image. However, you're totally out of step with the majority of Trinity fans. The White shirt/shorts/socks with a blue and red band is considered the ultimate Trinity kit. The alt blue version is also acceptable but is really a reverse away strip. We don't mind a V every now and then in place of the band but generally, we are the team in white. The white look with the band goes back to the sixties so is associated with a great era, it also has that mod 1960's look about it, which makes it a simple but classical design, personally I love it

A change every now and then is ok but this is what we like.

Classic Trinity kit's, even though they are the "updated" versions.

I agree, however I didn't do designs in that style because they had recently been done so there wasn't much point

Wasn't you I was aiming it at tbf, just pointing out that most Trin fans like most fans are pretty conservative in tastes.

They can mess around with the away strip all they want, However it does annoy me at finals or any game tbh when the away shirt is worn even when there is no clash!

The wildcats name can't have gone over well with traditionalists. Especially when Trinity is such a historic name.

At least we had the wolf on the town coat of arms, so there was some connection for the American-style nickname.

The redesigned Trinity badge is now the best in the league IMO.
