Nice idea by the club to help get extra income in these difficult times. I've gifted a basic membership to someone who can't get to many games. £15 I thought was good value and hope it will help.

Also on a seperate note bagged my self a bargain polo t shirt yesterday from the club which was on a deal of the day. Good to see the club coming up with good ideas to bring some money in.

Yeah, I saw that, I'm going to purchase it. The club are going to struggle over the next few months as they've got no income coming in.

Has anything been said either way whether season ticket holders will be refunded or not if the season isn’t completed in full?

I doubt they’re going to make those decisions until it’s decided what’s happening with the season.

I don’t see how the sport can just write off 90% of a season. It’s a different scenario for football as they’re at the tail end of their season.
I don’t see how RL can survive without the income from most of the seasons games and having to return most of the season ticket and season hospitality income.

Personally I’d cancel the League 1 and/or Championship seasons and use RL funds to keep those clubs alive until the start of next season.

Use those players then to bulk up SL clubs squads and allow us to play 2 games a week and catch up without knackering our players or playing young lads before they’re ready.

Alternatively you could keep the Championship and League One season going, but cancel the Super League Reserves and Academy competitions, allowing clubs to play additional mid week games while rotating their squads.

Yes, I don’t have money to burn to just give it away to the club for nothing. If games don’t go ahead it’s only fair people with tickets for them are refunded.

Some might not need or want the refund, but those who do shouldn’t be vilified for asking for it. Would people who buy tickets game by game be expected to pay still for games that don’t go ahead?

I wouldnt expect the club would give refunds should games not take place but would expect them to discount season tickets next season.

Truth is none of us have a clue when we will see our team play again. Plan at the moment is to somehow complete the season.

How about a long-term season ticket membership? Sell a 10 year ST for £2500 , 5 year for £1350 or 3 year for £850 or something like that. With the pubs shut people must have a bit of cash on the hip!

First time I find myself agreeing with him. He is right, and last thing needed right now is a pishing competition of who doesn’t care about money.

On the competition, Him was right in that we have plenty of time. Personally I hope they go with a 20 man squad allowing 7 subs, and play twice a week if necessary. Rather that than the stupid idea of reducing it to 60 minutes over quarters.

The seperate academy competition has to continue also, as a years development lost there could have big effects on the future.

Id probably sign up for that if they would put it on Direct Debit - I think Bradford City did something similar quite a while back my mate bought a 25 year ticket I think

Defeats the object which is to have cash reserves to replace the lost revenue. You'd have to pay up front but at least you'd be protected from price increases!

Agreed. Its unfortunate for the club, but those who walk up/buy tickets every week are £20/30 better off a week now. Why should ST holders be penalised for securing a ticket to every home game in a season upfront? Im £100 a month down for 4 x ST’s with no product to show.

However, ive decided, whilst im still working and a lot better off than some, im happy to pay it. In the hope that the season gets going again in some form and at some point. And, that Leeds will offer some form of recompence at some point in the future whether that be discounts, bogofs or something else for future ST’s.
