If we can get that figure to what I think is a realistic 400 people, that's £4000 a month (assuming many people won't take any prize money) That helps pay to keep on two backroom staff. It's not huge but it helps, it's an income stream and the club needs those.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm in. I think it's the 1873 thing. Normally £2 a week, but it comes out once every 3 months with the payee as "Yorkshire". Is that right?

And are these extras? I don't mind, obviously, and no one is really in it for the prizes, but just don't really know what I'm already subscribed to.

Best thing to do imo is to increase your number of lines to be roughly the same as you’d spend over a month at the match not including ticket price.

I normally have a pint and some chips and pend about £3 on travel. That’s a tenner roughly times by 2 per month. So I’ve gone for 20 lines a month.

Seems fair to me as I’d have spent that cash anyway. If you add that too the TTV and Squadbuilder I’m now paying £20 pm about a third of what I’d pay if games were on and I was buying a ticket.

I think that’s a effort to help the club. Hope that makes sense.

It was the way it was taken that I was querying, not what each one was. It might have been the 1873 lottery.

Anyway, I've taken 10 lines and Trinity TV. If I'm stuck at home, I can plough through some of the old games.

I recently joined 1873 and Trinity tv, intending to pay 20 pounds per month but I must have hit a button more than once because I had seventy odd pounds taken from my debit card in March. I've tried ringing the club but I either can't get a reply, it rings constantly, or one extension is constantly engaged. I've tried emailing the club but haven't had a reply. I know staff are in short supply but anybody got any ideas how I can rectify this.....?

Cancel the direct debit. Then don’t rejoin until it’s equaled out or the club can rectify.

Thanks, it's actually paid via Debit card not DD, I'm not sure if I can prevent further payments being taken, from a similar thing that happened in the past I seem to remember the bank saying I had to cancel such requests with the person/company taking the payment, Don't know if it's the same now but I'll get in touch with my bank and sort it, probably worth a try.

You can still cancel those. Just ring the bank and explain.

They always take the 1873 payments quarterly, which may explain the £70 ??

How many lines were you signing up for? The first page when it first appeared did look like they were monthly subscriptions. I thought I was signing up for £15 a month (10 lines and Trinity TV) but it's ended up at 10 lines a week, so 45-ish. I think I was drunk when I did it though, so I can't be sure. You've probably signed up for 20 lines or something!

I'm leaving it for now, but will adjust it once the season returns to normal.
