| Bradford had the right tactics to make us play from deep every set, we did not play super league speed, however I have never seen a team get such latitude to continually mess about at play the balls sanctioned by the ref which overall let them get a re-reset line of defence & therefore breaking them down was harder to do ?
This was all in the game, but onwards & upwards !

| Bit harsh for me there, Trin Trin….thought Bradford were very good tonight and the ref controlled the game very well. It was only in that final quarter that we were finally able to match their enthusiasm and determination and managed to scrape a victory.

| We never do play S L speed Bradford by far the better team they could have had 3 try's in first half .There 6,7 and 9 gave us the runaround for most of the match Think that points to our main problem

| Probably typical of most SL versus Championship cup games. It's always going to be the Championship side who throw everything at it, because they know they have to, and look like taking the win after 60 minutes, but then fade in the last 20 minutes as the SL team's fitness and conditioning come to the fore.
Don't spend days over analysing this one. It's just knock out rugby. Move on.

| You have to say, very well played Bradford. They had a HUGE dig at us tonight and were unlucky not to beat us.
We did well to hang in a game where we were being out played in every department.
It has to be said that, once again, against opposition that we were expected to overcome relatively comfortably, we didn't show up and considering the two reverses against London and the debacle at KR this season, such soft preparation shouldn't be happening.
They came out fired up and full of enthusiasm and kicked our backsides for 65 minutes and but for a smart move down our right, instigated by Lyne, we were coming second all night.
Happy to still be in the draw but, such a long way from good enough.
Any SL side and Fev or Leigh would very likely have dumped us out of the cup and Bradford were unlucky to fall short.

| I thought the big change was getting Atkins away from TJ. Within a minute Tupou and TJ worked together and created the try to get us back in the game.

We shouldn't of been in that position we aren't going to win SL this the only trophy to compete for it baffles me how poor the side performs

| Escare would be an excellent loan signing to play on the wing and free up Tupou to return to the centre. It appears that we may be missing Walker therefore Jowitt will have to revert to full back leaving Brough to carry on.
I do not actually have an agenda other than I believe Brough is no longer the player to improve the team. He was once but age effects all of us especially those playing professional sport.

| I have no doubt if Walker is not fit then Jowitt will definitely have recovered. If he is then I would think maybe more rest required.
He is not going to drop Brough. I was away so could not go but listening on the radio it sounded like we were once again clueless.

| Difference in coaches last night ,one can fire a team up for big games the other can’t . At this rate looks like we”ll be going out of the cup with all but a whimper yet again.

| Any cup win against a kear-driven Bradford is a good win. They dumped us (Leeds) out last year with a fair bit to spare.

| I don't see a big problem toughing out a game against a more enthusiastic side and still winning.
Staying in the game and weathering that storm is an important skill to have.
There are things we need to improve and personally, assuming he isn't needed at fullback, I'd play Max at scrum half again until Brough proves he's ready.
If Brough is as driven as he used to be he should be pulling up trees after being dropped for a make shift.

It was a cup tie and to only thing that really matters is making it into the next round, which we did, just.
What really disappoints is that, once again, our heads weren't right.
Every so called easy game and we aren't there and it's not good enough - we are supposed to be a professional side.
It says something when 2 of our 3 tries came from wing/ centre play and our halves just weren't doing it.
Lilley, a Leeds "reject" was head and shoulders above either of our halves in everything that he did, passing, kicking, organising and controlling their attack.
Chester and his team must be able to see the same thing but, thus far, have been unable or unwilling to do anything about it.
It's easy to look for scapegoats after a poor performance but, there IS a huge problem in our halves. Hopefully the coaching staff have recognise this and will eventually do something about it.

Keeping Tupou and Johnstone together is crucial. Lyne and Atkins can then fanny around at their own cost.

Was it not Lyne and Tupou who crafted the try on the right hand side, that got us over the line.
Atkins is a really strong running centre but, so far, his link up play hasn't been great.
In a way he seems a bit like Brough and wants to do it all and take the glory, instead of sometimes what may be best for the team.
Obviously he got a couple of meat pies at Salford but, we have to play as a team.
Having said that, if there isn't much being created, you want your senior players to take some responsibility and I guess that e's done that.

Just like against Hull when BT switched and set up TJ twice.
IMO backs line up should be TJ BT RL LK, and the reserves for RA

Sadly, I don't think that is "all that matters"' The fans go to, hopefully, be entertained. Ninety percent of the entertainment last night came from the opposition.... yet again!!

Agree. Bulls the better team and played some attractive rugby. At least CC had the decency to admit the best team lost!

Exactly like that.
Looking at the Lyne youtube highlights via twiiter link I just wonder where has that guy gone. Some awesome tries. The bulldozing of Shaul is one moment I never forget.
How good was it to see Bill Tupou running hard in straight lines last night too.

| You would see the real Lyne if the 6,7,and 9 could get the ball to him when not having 2 + opponents waiting for him. He got one running chance last night we scored .Topou and Johnston got one chance last night we scored. When you can only give players of that quality one chance in 80 mins .shows some one is not doing there job very well
