Tough one to call
Neither side has started the season as well as they may have liked.
Trinity with a raft of injuries and Salford still trying to get back to where they finished last season.
Hastings and Lui are long gone and they appear to have lost much of their flair in attack.

Trinity, welcome back some additional power in their pack but, still no Fifita or Arona and they are now short of halfbacks, with either Jowitt of young Bailey likely to be partnering Miller this afternoon.

I tipped Salford to win this on but, it really could go either way.

Good win for Wakey,well done.

Some of the defending for the Wakey tries was absolutely pathetic. The last one from Tanginoa our player looked like he actually moved out of the way.

Pretty woeful from us TBH and a few players need to be taking a long hard look at themselves. Probably only Sarginson and Evalds who can take any credit from today's game.

Missing Hastings organisation which was always a worry but probably as much his desire and ability to inspire those around him. He's a leader and some of our more senior pros really need to be stepping up to the plate.

Fortunately only one team goes down so Toronto and KR will probably mean we shouldn't be panicking just yet.

Well it was never a dig at Salford, but You should be winning these games at home,hence what i said,good win for Wakey,well done.

Wakey fully deserved the win as they dominated in the forwards and around the ruck. Our one on one defence was amateur and the team spirit doesn't appear to be a patch on last season. Sums it up when we made Ryan Atkins look like Mal Meninga at times!

Sarginson was immense for Salford.

Agreed. The rest were a shambles tho!!!

Attack wise you seem to have the same issues as us.

I like Watson,and i hope he gets it back together for ya.

Must point out that the ref wasn’t noticeable at all yesterday. (From my point of view anyway.

It’s a tough enough job as it is but both teams just got on with playing rugby yesterday without showmanship.

Watched the game back this morning and that's what i thought both teams just got on with it playing fair and hard and the ref had a easy time of it not really noticed
