Probably a Cas win, Rovers are doing it tough at the moment.
As a Bulls fan I'm hoping some of our former players can get in the side and have a good run out. Ethan Ryan is just as good at finishing tries as the likes of Tom Johnstone.

Cant see past a Cas win but, that's a bold statement to make about the young kid.
Only Maknison is anywhere close to Johnston in the finishing stakes at the moment but, good luck to him, he must be some prospect !

Ryan won't play I think as both the current wingers are (a) not injured and (b) playing pretty well. Keyes made his debut last week and I expect him to keep his place due to both 1st choice halves being injured. Minchella will likely start off the bench, but the stand out of the lot is Matty Storton, he's been outstanding in a poor side. Its hard to believe he's only 20 and he will no doubt achieve a lot in the game in the next 10 years.

Quite fancy a home win for rovers myself, it's very unpredictable at the moment.

I fancy Rovers for this one. Nothing to lose and quite exciting half backs in Keyes and Brierley. Hopefully an exciting game

A dour game but a potential banana skin dodged. Thought HKR gave a really good account of themselves, all things considered & can hold their heads up.

No mention of Millington blatant dive? Not at least checking the obstruction try afterwards? Thought Rovers played with plenty of effort and was surprised we ahead at HT. Game as good as gone after that yellow and losing Hadley and Garbutt. Cas didn't need any help tonight but got plenty

Thought we were solid enough. Made 60% more metres with 20 or so less carries. Would have liked 1 or 2 more scores but kr didn't throw the towel in. People might harp on about Cas getting faverouble decisions but because our pack and ruck were so dominant at the stage the opposition lose their discipline. A harsh yellow but millo definitely didn't "dive" to get a player or a decision, he was going for the ball, likewise brierley.

5-1 penalty count to HKR in the first half, Cas kick chaser was clearly impeded right at the start of the game Kendall waved play on, gave KR a penalty and that's how they got in position to score a try.

5-1 penalty count all that gifted field position in the first half and only 8 points to show for it. But hey McMeeken standing still before the defensive line is "obstruction" and Brierley guiding Millington out of the way is fine right?

Let's ignore Dagger should have been put in the bin too....

Just like Wakefield last week, once the ref caught up to the thuggery and started penalising it, the game was gone.



Richardson, Smith and Massey too.

He went shoulder to shoulder with a much smaller player and when ball bounced out of his path dived as blatant as you'd like. Kendall bought it and the game changed.We worked hard enough to be in with a squeak going into last 20 but whatever chance went with the following 10 minutes shorthanded.In fairness Cas with their busts up middle and overall pressure would likely have won anyway but left feeling Kendall really influenced that 2nd half particularly the 40-60 min.Then it was holding back the tide. I like Cas as a team and Millington as a player but that was a dive.

Richardson ran behind him .Linnett made contact with him. They get given nowadays even if looked bit soft.Why no VR ? Thuggery? Will see if disciplinary give a ban. No point debating with you as your =#FF0000Leave out the name calling please. Karen.

I can see why the ref gave a sin bin for that. You can easily argue that the Hull KR player has run into the path of the Cas man. If it’s a penalty in that situation it’s pretty much got to be a yellow card as well.

I can also see why the ref gave the Richardson? try and didn’t penalise for obstruction. It looked like the Cas man in front of him was genuinely going for the ball but it went behind him. Though personally if I’d been reffing I’d probably have sent it to the VR. Think that decision is reasonable if it was a non-televised game but was surprised he didn’t use the video ref.

Thought it was good reffing not to sin bin Dagger too. Yes it was a shoulder charge but it was a controlled one and was nowhere near the head.

So 1 good decision and 2x close ones that in real time I agreed with.

Yep.Different aims for our season's. Looking like another year of strife for us despite Smith getting a tune out of some less celubrious players
Effort and spirit in abundance just need key players back plus at least 1 high quality prop. Will get worse before it gets better.
