Like I said earlier I cut through Thornes Park and saw the smoke, though at that point there weren't loads, and didn't think a lot about it, though I text my wife to say that something was on fire, and just looked at my phone, and the text was read at 1.26

I saw that as I was headed to the gym on Saturday - Thornes road and surrounding was gridlocked and there was black smoke billowing; by the time I got out, the extent of it had become clear - half of the city centre evacuated by the sounds, and a warning of airborne asbestos. Scary stuff - and remarkable that no one was injured or killed.
I worked at that factory on a temp contract many years ago, sweeping leaves off the entrance road - over and over and over again, Forth Bridge style. I have never been able to look at a donut since.
