I don't think that Wakefield's poor form will continue much longer.


The long run of injuries has lead to a massive fall in confidence, which has failed to end with the return to the team of many of them.

However, they are professional players and they will be smarting after their second half submission against Cas.

With Jowitt back at full back I expect Brough to run the show tonight and Wakefield to come away with a surprise morale boosting win.

Wigan by a few scores I think.

We didn’t get much of response from the Catalans game so I doubt we’ll get a response from the Cas game.

Wakefield have no confidence and only one game plan. I would be very shocked if they got anything from this game.

Wakey are clearly not playing for Chester. Wigan by 18.

The pies by plenty hopefully. I'd love to see Wakey get relegated this season.

Hopefully Saints put out a weak team this weekend get beat and put Wakefield in further trouble.

Well Wigan have trained well again.
They should be selling season ticket for their training sessions next season - it seems the place to be if you want to see great rugby.
Still - Wigan will have won by half time.

Can’t believe how lethargic Wakey look, just don’t look interested a jot.

This is going to be a stroll. Brough especially doesn’t bothered, usually spits his dummy when he makes a mistake but not even doing that.

People need to realise that Wigan is depleted with injuries. By contrast Wakefield has its star forward signings David Fifita and Pauli Pauli playing off the bench. For Wakefield to be down 28-0 before half time under these circumstances is a sign that the team is in free fall and that the club is probably a candidate for relegation at the end of the year.

For Super League to lose Wakefield, retain London, and acquire either Toronto or Toulouse, would be a huge bonus for Super League. Let us all pray that this happens.

Wakefield are in real trouble. Chester needs to go to give them any hope but do Wakefield have enough money to have 2 managers on the payroll?

Think it’s got to that stage that Chester needs to go, this isn’t just playing bad it’s shocking effort - this might even be worst than some of the ‘efforts’ Leeds were putting in under Furner - even if they get rid though their remaining fixtures might not even give them a honeymoon period.

Unless they come up against the bad version of Hull then good chance they might still be on 18 points come that final game vs London.

Can't see another win in us going on tonight's performance. The two 4 point games against Hull KR and London are our only hopes. Hull KR will muller us at their place, and London will be rubbing their hands together at the prospect of maybe sending us down.

Looks like it might come down to the Battle of the Mobile Rocket Stadium.

With their tip of a 'ground', Wakey will quickly feel at home in the lower leagues when they get relegated.

They are in dire form at the very worst time of the year.

London still has to win at least three more games to avoid the drop. Because if London only wins two, and Wakefield win no more games, then both will be on 18 competition points and Wakefield will be ahead of London on match points scored for and against differential.
