A Toronto victory would almost guarantee them top spot in The Championship and possibly put the skids under Leigh's challenge.
However, a Leigh victory would be a huge statement from the smaller club in Wigan and IF they can secure the 2 points, it would put them in good shape to mount their own promotion challenge.

Toulouse v London could be equally significant and you feel that London would have to win this one if they are to mount any serious challenge.

If Toronto lose, it still won't affect them gaining top spot, but it might well shake things up in 2nd-6th!

Have to fancy Leigh, Purtill is doing a great job and they’re on a great run. Win this and you have to fancy them for promotion.

Leigh beat Fev fairly convincingly last Sunday, Toulouse were extremely lucky to beat Fev, not sure how much of an indication this is, but on form Leigh should beat Toronto handily, providing they get a fair shake from the ref.

This game is massive for Leigh, they could really do with the win if they are to have a chance of finishing 4th.

It doesn’t matter as much to Toronto who are sitting pretty at the top of the league, they’re very likley to finish top whether they win lose or draw.

Toronto have had plenty of possession in the sleigh 20, but don’t look like scoring. Some terrible last tackle plays. Both sides looking error-prone and poor. Leigh look by far the most likely winners though, just because they look able to score. Toronto’s halves should hand some of their wages back on this showing!

Maybe can afford one more defeat. We were poor tonight, but still should have won. But yeah, top 4 is unlikely now.

I still think you will be ok. 8 games left, 2 points to make up with a strong PD, and prior to today your form has been very strong. If I was betting on it I would take you ahead of Fev and perhaps London too.

It is so predictable, if we had pulled of an amazing win against the Toronto all stars, there would have been no comment from it.
And it wonders, why it receives so much abuse. Because it has NO balls....Kept it clean, so it can't go crying to the moderators about being bullied....

Yeah same here. I still think Leigh will make the top four. It’ll be really interesting to see how Toronto fair in the middle eights.

I’d love to see them get promoted. Not for this pie in the sky North American expansion as the whole thing won’t last. However, I’d love to see Sky agreeing to them sticking one game a week on free sports. Plus the other super league chairman agreeing to the messing around.

London are 100 ahead on +/-.......the run in for both teams includes some brutal games with London away to Toulouse, Fev, Toronto and at home to Fax.......but essentially Leigh will need to win 2 more than London....because that 100 points is a hefty ask.

However, if Leigh can still be in with a shout by then, their last three games are against the bottom three clubs, who they scored 180 points against, first time around.

Toronto are now 7 points clear at the top of the league, has a club ever dominated the Championship by such a large margin? It seems very unfair their points will go to 0 after round 23.

Why is it unfair it's the same as when we dominated last year or Leigh the season before obviously you can't keep your points when your merging with the bottom of SL that would be ridiculous

The whole middle 8’s play off system is ridiculous. The team that finishes top of the Championship should be promoted.
