I'm surprised it took so long. He's no fool, whatever his faults, and he must know better than anyone that what his teams were serving up was well short of what it should have been. If he learns from it he may do better elsewhere starting with a clean slate but we badly needed a new broom.

Let's hope we can find a good one, if it was up to me, I would have had no hesitation in giving the job to Diskin but that ship just sailed. I don't see why (unless a better option turns up) Disko can't stick with it for the rest of the season.

Wish all the best to Lowes whatever he does. Not sure his temperament is quite right for a top coach, but he'll always be a Bulls legend to me.

I'd have Naylor/Morrison/Uncle Tom Cobley before bloody Iestyn with his monotone voice and weird hand gestures. His presence at Odsal was one of the big reasons for why we are where we are now so I can’t see his potential return going down that well.

Possibly only the return of McBanana would go down worse.
