Absolutely. Supported by union types in Australia who know they are on a never ending slippery slope to oblivion + Fulton for some unknown reason (maybe to distract from his role at NSW for 10 years).
Do these people not realise that RL is just RU with the rules changed to make it faster, better and more accessible? Playing a 'hybrid rules' match would just be needlessly incorporating 100-year-old rules into a more advanced and evolved sport. It would be like a football team playing a match in 2015 with a three-man offside rule, no penalty kicks and using a brown leather ball.
