So the NRL have released details of the new Marvel shirts for this season. I bought one last year and still wear it but its a bit disappointing to see a number of teams offering the same/similar to last season.

So what do you think of this years offerings and could something similar work in the UK?

they would work over here, and have been tried previously as a one off from Leeds and Wigan.

But what you are talking about there is a long term commitment from clubs, working with high level people at high value companies to put in place creative, imaginative and innovative ideas and execute them well. So its probably not for us.

You're also talking about a much more high profile sport with more money, far more media coverage and more members to advertise to.

The fans must have more money; have you seen the price of NRL jerseys in Oz?

Total rip off prices here. Even a little kids Jersey which has hardly any material and will fit for them for 9 months till they grow out of it is over 50 quid!

Roosters - want

I got the South Sydney one as a gift last year. Loved it so i have bought the St George one this year....similar to last years but its "new" to me having had the souths one. I dont like the Roosters or Knights but those two in my eyes have the best designs.

I bought the Dragons (Iron Man) and the Raiders (Hulk) ones last year, will probably buy the Roosters (Captain Amarica) and the Tigers (War Machine) this year

The Newcastle one is awesome.

I went to the comicon in Manchester yesterday, got a few people looking at my Souths top.....one asking what it was. Saw another guy there in his Wolverine (manly i think) top from last year as well.
