| A good winter team, that would fizzle like vampires in the summer game.
You wouldn't want to share the soap from the showers after this lot has gone through. Baths like someone had shaved a fox.

Fair point.
I couldn't think of another ginger centre apart from Jack Reed so stuck Brett Dallas in there.
Dallas really should be on the wing ahead of that overrated Ginger Chancer Scott Donald whom I was loath to include. Unfortunately, I could only think of replacing him with David Hodgson... yeah, exactly.

| Apart from Jack Reed, there's another ginger Jack who was a centre (and coincidentally with my user name). Maybe William isn't as old as I thought if he doesn't remember the late Wakefield and Bradford centre?

I'm trying to think who you are alluding to.
The only centre named Jack I can think of is Jack Austin who I remember playing for Bramley in the 1970's before moving to Bradford Northern along with several other Bramley players to link up with coach Peter Fox again.
I thought Austin was blond rather than ginger?
If you are referring to him, then I'd no idea he had passed away. Sad, if true. Always enjoyed watching him play. Hard b@stard for sure.

| No, I am referring to Jack Marston. Was a good solid centre for Wakefield in the early 1970's then went to Bradford Northern but took a year or so to settle in. Sadly passed away a year or two ago.
I remember Jack Austin well, I don't know about him today but hope he's in good health. I agree with your comment that he was a tough cookie!

| If you were really desperate for a centre, you could have gone with Jack Hughes

Sorry, don't remember a Jack Marston at all though I feel I probably should. The chances are I've seen him play on several occasions. I was a regular attendee back then as a youngster.
I was originally from Burley area of Leeds so obviously watched the Loiners a lot. Parents moved to Bramley in mid-70's so I ended up following Bramley as well.
Bradford Northern had an extremely ginger forward back in the mid-70's but I can't recall his name. Usual lumphammer type forward which that meatheaded club always seemed to favour ahead of any forward equipped with brains.

| Big Jeff Grayson's son Paul was an athletic ginger chap for Bradford and Feath. Get him on the bench. Not too near the end though or it'll tip up.

| Paul Groves was a useful ginger hooker for St Helens in the 1980's.
Also wasn't Neil Cowie somewhat ginger, or was he more of a strawberry blonde?

| Plenty of forwards to go at - Steve Southern (NQL, Wakey), Dylan Napa (Roosters), Joel Edwards (Canberra), Tom Symonds (Manly)
Every good team needs a ginner
Special mention for Alex McKinnon too
Also current Wakey coach James Webster
