Tony Ray is now a commentator for Sky Sports. He could become the new Shaun McRae as far as Sky is concerned, complementing Brian Carney and Phil Clarke. As was the case with McRae, Ray is a better TV commentator than he is a rugby league coach. He is obviously close to the Sky team, in particular close to closet London fan Michael Stephenson (aka "Stevo"icon_wink.gif
Don't expect Ray will find a coaching job in Australia (Queensland Cup?) before 2015. So he will probably be hoping that Sky can find a place for him for the remainder of the 2014 season.
I wish Rea nothing but the best for the future and I hope he throttled Hughes for a big fat cheque on the way outa the door, no he was't a great coach, I think he seems to lack the inspirational personality for that, but what a guy, pulled the team coach over at Wembley, to give my disabled mum a lift up Wembley Way, something She (and we) will never forget! A true gentleman!
