| I haven't as yet seen a thread for this, Who does everyone think will fill the top and bottom of the league?
Personally,
1 - Leeds Rhino's
2 - St Helens
3 - Warrington Wolves
4 - Huddersfield Giants
5 - Wigan Warriors
6 - Salford Red Devils
7 - Catalan Dragons
8 - Hull FC
9 - Castleford Tigers
10 - Hull Kr
11- Bradford Bulls
12 - Widnes Vikings
......................................
13 - Wakefield Wildcats
14 - London Broncos
I await the fans of everyones teams arguing as to why they should be further up the league.

| Not a bad shout. I think London have to be odds-on to go down, then one of Wakefield, Cas, Widnes or Bradford. Depending on how Cas adapt to life post-Rangi Chase, it could be very tight to avoid 13th place. It wouldn't be a surprise to see KR dragged into it to, but I think they could just be in a league of their own for 9th.
The rest will make up the 8. I think Salford will be 8th with FC 7th, some distance off the rest, who could frankly come in any order for me.
I'll go for:
Warrington
Huddersfield
Wigan
Leeds
St Helens
Catalan
Hull FC
Salford
Hull KR
Castleford
Widnes
Wakefield
Bradford
London

I think that you have grossly underrated the potential of the Catalans Dragons. With a new look to the three quarter line (specialist Ben Pomeroy in the centres, alongside Vincent Duport and Michael Oldfield on one wing), the Catalans attack will be greatly strengthened.
Certainly the club will miss Remi Casty, who will do his reputation wonders at the NRL Premiers, Sydney Roosters, but it has recruited well in the forwards.
London groans under the weight of incompetence of David Hughes, Tony Rea and Gus McKay. Lacking any talent and experience in the halves, and no strength in the forwards, they are destined to run last.
So my ranking is:
[iWarrington
Catalans
Leeds
St Helens
Huddersfield
Wigan
Hull FC
Salford
Hull KR
Widnes
Bradford
Castleford
Wakefield
London[/i

Ambitious!
If Wigan come 6th I'll be astounded. Happy, but mostly astounded!
The positions of the top 5/6 are anyone's guess.
After that you have a middle group of
Hull, hull KR , Salford who will fight for the other top 8 places
Then Cas, Wakey, Bradford and Widnes fighting to stay in the top 12
Then poor London. I'd love them to surprise everyone and stay up, the explosion on here would be comedy gold, but they are really up against it, more than any other side I've seen in SL

| Top three in any order - Huddersfield, Saints & Wigan.
4 & 5, Warrington and Leeds.
6-9, HullFC, HullKR, Catalans, Salford.
10-14, Bradford, Cas, Wakey, Widnes and London.
As a Wigan fan I hop we win it, also fear Wakey or Widnes and London will be relegated. Why did clubs like Cas, Wakey, Widnes & London vote for relegation?

All teams wanted a reduction to 12 & the return of P&R.
After the initial reduction to 12, the 12x8 structure favours SL teams staying in SL whereas instant P&R would mean they spend a season out of SL if they finish bottom. Being able to finish bottom of the league and still be odds on to stay in SL the next season is very much in their best interests.

| Relegation in the past has meant all players contract are void and cancelled.
I think this will apply to this season but we've not been advised if this will continue from 2015.
I just can't understand why a club would vote for relegation knowing half their staff will be made redundent.

| I'd guess because the game's stagnating with the same teams not competing in SL, champ teams aren't getting a fair crack at the whip which in turn means that the championship has no motivation. Also it seems the teams want a larger portion of funding because there isn't enough to go around 14 teams, though the RFL and presumably at least some clubs would like some of that spread to the championship to help promote competition. Oh, and the many meaningless games for bottom of the league clubs & having nothing to play for.

| Salford will self destruct by mid season, Hock will be gone Morley injured and Chase having a hissy fit, can see them in the bottom 4 yet again.
Can see the league being in the same 1-5, 6-9, 10-14 groups as last year.

| You think. They beat an understrength Leigh 26-16. Although you think they didn't get out of first gear. Seeing as its Salfords first outing how do you you know what is 4th gear.

Mate you could hardly get out of your own half at times, only penalties helped you when you did the weather evened the game up massively Aswel. Anyway everyone can have their own opinions but if you think Leigh are one of the favs for the championship playing a completely new team without their first choice front row and first choice strike player you did pretty well not to be on the end of a hiding. It's only a friendly anyway matches like this are more used like training sessions for SL teams.

Cant disagree with those predictions.
The only thing i would add is one of those top 9 teams will have an injury crisis and finish lower down. It seems to happen every year to one team ( usually Hull !).

| No chance, not with teams like London, Wakefield, Castleford, and Widnes about. Even Salford are getting overhyped imo.
We're far from great but we'll finish 6th I reckon.

at worst battling it out with rovers for 8th, but we should be looking at 6th - decent squad with a bit of depth and at last some junior players coming through. but its always a bit of a gamble with a rookie coach at this level
