Looking ahead to the 2017 world cup, why not put together a german team to add to the european nations.
I'm sure we can find 24 players from the nrl and queensland cup who have the paperwork connections to germany, then the nrl will surely have abit of spare change lying around to set up some form of sunday league amateur competition in germany and then voila, we have a german rugby league team!
There already is a German rugby league team, affiliated to the RLEF, playing in the RLEF competitions and ranked 20th in the world. Or, just start a new one. Whatever you prefer.
