Surprised no mention of the team that became undisputed Champions yesterday in North Wales Crusaders.

A club who were dead and buried 20 months ago but the fans would not let die and now have 2 trophies to their name.

Every single person involved at North Wales Crusaders should be so proud today - the directors, staff, players and the fans - for keeping the rugby league dream in North Wales alive.

Massive, massive congratulations - this success is so deserved.

There's so much more to rugby league than Super League and while that may be the ultimate goal, there's so much to enjoy and celebrate at the lower levels. Championship 1 has been a fantastic competition, and the cameraderie between fans of the various clubs has been something to savour.

We'll miss the friends we've made throughout the league, but it's onwards and upwards now. This is just the start - we're back!

Yeah you won't find many friends in the Championship. That's where all the big boys play!

Great day at the Racecourse, over 1500 there to cheer the team on. As far as next season's concerned, I was talking to a club official on the pitch after the game and he said that unfortunately quite a few of this season's players won't be there next season as they just wouldn't be good enough for the Championship, so the club's well aware of what needs to be done.
