At this time of the season, who would you select as man of steel for 2012. I cant really think of anyone who has really impressed? Of course, sam tomkins is having a great season but its too predictible imo.

Tim Smith and Paul Aiton have gone really well this year in a revamped Wakefiled Team.
Lee Briers and Brett Finch have been vital to Wire and Wigan respectively
But i think tomkins has it in the bag

Tomkins doesn't have a god given right to win. He has been on of the better players though. For me Scott Dureau has been superb and would get my vote. Tomkins & Hock have also been great at Wigan. I also have been extremely impressed with Paul Aiton. |

Why would McGuire, Sinfield or Waterhouse be anywhere near winning MoS if we are looking at the season as a whole..? Atkins is questionable too...
Short-list has to be: Tomkins, Roby, Dureau and Finch - them four players have been stand-outs this season |

Well what if happens if a rubbish player (4/10) like Ian Kirke for example has a good season (7/10) but a great player like James roby or Sam Tomkins just plays to the level that is expected of them every week (8/10).
Do you give the MoS to Ian Kirke for playing better than expected but still not quite as good as other players?? |
