So I can acknowledge that the Wimbledon final and Grand Prix get prime coverage today but the BBC RL Webpage hasn't been updated since 1744 on 7 Jul hence there are no RL score updates from today's SL games. I think this is a disgrace and will be writing to voice my complaint.

I'm sure that there's plenty of BBC Sport journalists at the other events and IMHO it's completely unsatisfactory to ignore other sports that are happening at the same time. Heaven know what will happen during the Olympics.

I urge others to share their concerns with the BBC too.

There was nothing there when I checked a few times this afternoon, and as in my original post the site was saying it hadn't been updated since yesterday.

Oh yes and before I get any more smart comments I could see the latest tennis updates and Grand Prix results so I wasn't just accessing an old page from my browser history.

I was following the scores on the BBC website from my phone all afternoon.

There isn't actually a link for live scores when you go into the bbc rugby league section.

I was about to have a good seethe when i found the scores after going into the international live scores and then clicking on the superleague option which doesn't come up immediately

use the skysports website instead. its not like your restricted to one website on the internet is it?

As for the rest of you I'm fully aware that other websites are available but find it unacceptable to put up with a substandard service which I pay a licence fee for, and I am prepared to actually do something about it, rather than just post anonymous abuse on a forum.

How can the BBC be held responsible for a very simple technical issue, you could not see the updated scores but most other people could so the BBC were clearly publishing them. Club RL gets treated very well by the BBC, better than most sports. You made comparisons with the most popular Tennis final in the UK on record and the British grand prix. Both of those are Blue Ribband events are bigger than a few SL fixtures so the comaprison was at best stupid. Outside football there is genmerally very little demand for sports on the BBC website. General news is is where most of the volume goes and by an order of magnitude greater than football.

Reference to Wimbledon and the Grand Prix was an acknowledgement that bigger events were taking place albeit Id expect that with a £200m annual budget (from the licence fee for online & iplayer) that they'd be able to offer a consistent service to other sports. As other users have pointed out there are competing services that offer score updates, and my its experience that the BBC failed in delivering a high standard service on this occasion.

If other users are happy to put up with a substandard service then good luck to them. I am not, hence I stand by my reasoning and complaint.

But you are clearly talking nonsense. What is substandard? Substandard can only be a relative thing. Score updates were available you are having a rant at the BBC for your own stupidity and failure to admit you were wrong.

Every time I've been on the bbc rugby league website I've easily found the live scores. It's in the same place all the time.
