| From The Sun:
HULL FC assistant coach Andy Hay has been handed the chance of a lifetime in helping prepare New South Wales for next Wednesday’s world televised State of Origin game with Queensland.
Hay, 38, formerly with Sheffield Eagles, Castleford and Leeds, has flown out to team up with NSW and ex-Australia coach Ricky Stuart.
Already one down in the three-match series to a controversial Greg Ingliss try, Hay is expected to work on the defensive patterns which he specialises in under Peter Gentle at Hull. He will also visit Wests Tigers and meet up with his former boss at Castleford Terry Matterson

| It may sound like a great experience.
But he won't be learning anything new.

| Andy Hay was a great player for Leeds until he signed a four-year contract, when his form appeared to desert him overnight.

| Isn't 'great' stretching it a bit? He was the classic workshy wide-running second rower. Could be devastating at times, or dreadful for entire games. In fact, if you want a second row to have nightmares about, imagine pairing him and Simon Haughton.

| I could never watch Andy Hay play without being reminded of Cletus the slack jawed yokel.

| Helping "prepare" the team in what way?
Surely he is just an observer, SOO teams have more Coaching staff and helpers/hangers on than you can poke a stick at.
The original post quoting the Sun did not even get the 1st game correct in the fact that Inglis did not score the deciding try.
