| That squad will produce a decent 17, but some of the selections are questionable.
What has Hohaia done to warrant selection? The same can be said for Laffranchi, Meli, Delaney, Carmont and Webster.
Even some of the more obvious choices like Richards and Hodgson look like reputation over form imo, and out of all of Bradford's o/s players I would say Heath has been the one who is most out of form at this moment in time. Kearney has been going really well and scoring a decent number of tries so far, and Lulia looks a threat every time he gets the ball.
Perhaps Anderson is just doing us a favour by not selecting any after seeing how many injuries we have

| Anderson hasn't got eurosport and is picking the side in reputation.
I'm a bit disappointed its not a voting system anymore.
Oh and 2 players from each club would be more apt.

| There are 4 Monaghan brothers too !
Michael & Joel who played for Wires last season, and their identical, but less gifted, brothers who are playing this year.

| Delaney has been excellent for Leeds this season and from what I've seen Carmont has been pretty good for Wigan. I don't think there's particularly any who don't deserve to be in a 30 man squad there. Be interesting to see which 17 play.
Personally I'd go with:
1. Brett Hodgson
2. Joel Monaghan
3. Jake Webster
4. George Carmont
5. Pat Richards
6. Scott Dureau
7. Thomas Leuluai
8. Tony Puletua
9. Michael Monaghan
10. Lopini Paea
11. Willie Manu
12. Brett Delaney
13. Luke O'Donnell
14. Lance Hohaia
15. Setaimata Sa
16. Louis Anderson
17. David Fa'aologo

laffranchi is looking like a solid foward so he deserves to be picked, and carmont is close to career best form with wigan at the moment so he should be a starting .
kearney looks really ball greedy more so than sam tomkins and produces less aswell (Not saying hes a bad player) lulia looks a good prospect but to early for him i think.

| As a Rovers fan I am yet to see this season what Webster can offer this side. Defensively he is pretty strong but even himself admits he's found it tough having someone different defending 3 in every game with the absence of Green. So for him to have to adapt to yet another defender history would suggest that is where England should target if selected at centre.
I think it is more a pick on reputation as said above and while some players deserve to be in there and some will perform better with these others around them I think certain players have been left out basically because they've not been watched this season. I wouldn't say he's set the world alight but Shannon McDonnell has really attacked well and surprised he's not made the squad as he can cover the back positions really well, superb under the high ball too. One of the top defenders this season has been Lovegrove, he can play wing, centre, loose forward, second row or prop so his utility value on the bench and work rate on the pitch would be second to none. Think Micky Paea would cause problems too, most defences struggle with him as he is just a massive human although maybe not hit the heights of his brother just yet.

| I'd like to see the Exiles chosen like the All stars game here, 1 player from each club and fans get to vote withthe coach choosing capt and the remaining 4 places. Makes it more interesting for fans and more likely people will follow the game.

| At the minute, I'd say the only Wigan players properly deserving of a spot are Lima & Finch. Leuluai has been a bit quiet by his standards for the most part, Richards very quiet and strugglign with an injury, and i'd rather Carmont didn't play because of his age.

Leuluai has been quiet? He's in the best form of his career right now. He's creating like a proper halfback should, and doing so consistently, for the first time in his career.
I agree that neither Carmont or Richards have been good enough to earn selection.
My picks would be:
1. Brett Hodgson
2. Joel Monaghan
3. Darryl Millard
4. Joel Moon
5. Michael Robertson
6. Brett Finch
7. Scott Dureau
8. Jeff Lima
9. Michael Monaghan
10. Anthony Laffranchi
11. Sia Soliola
12. Willie Manu
13. Luke O'Donnell
14. Thomas Leuluai
15. Trent Waterhouse
16. Tony Puletua
17. Lopini Paea / Antonio Kaufusi

| Brett Delaney has to be in there somewhere. Best overseas forward this year!! He is an absolute beast. Leeds best player this year! Probably swap him for O'Donnell from the team above.

| im being serious. always puts in big minutes makes 40+ tackles a game usually and decent meters as well. Im not Brian Macs biggest fan but his decisions to put Delaney into 2nd row, Hardaker to centre and Burrow to hooker have all been spot on.
It is a big call with regards to best overseas forward as i have not seen a great deal from others but definately best leeds player for me this season and that includes ian kirke.

| Why not use some kind of wheel of fortune to select the squad and then Brucies Play your Cards right to select the team
Alternatively leave it up to the coaching staff

| Don't know how L'Estrange got in from Bradford but Lulia didn't.
Keith has looked excellent so far and Heath hasn't got near his best yet this season.

| No idea how Lulia isn't in. Surprised Jake Webster's been selected. Not watched Hull KR, but can't imaine him been better than Lulia. Oh well least he gets to play for us
Wonder which player Mcnamara's got his eye on. Manu? Dureau?
1. Hodgson
2. Robertson ( I don't think monoghans been that good. Robertson's finishing has been world class)
3. Millard
4. Moon
5. Richards
6. Finch
7. Dureau
8. Kaufusi
9. LeuLai
10. Paea
11. Manu
12. Soliola
13. Puletua
14. M Monoghan
15. Lima
16. Waterhouse
17. O'Donnell
Think thats an awesome squad.

The only absentee from last year's backs is Rangi Chase, now with England. In come Dureau and Finch who some would argue are better than Chase. How is it not as strong?

Richards, Carmont, Hodgson and Monahghan arn't the force they were last season, and Matt King isn't there. Don't get me wrong they're all still class players. Finch and Dureau are better halfbacks but probably won't pose the same running threat as Chase and Lululai last year.
