| Pleanty of bad press today concerning the behaviour of certain fans today, so who do we think are the most well behaved fans or the club that is most welcoming ?
Maybe because they are small in number, but the Broncos fans have always been pretty good, as are the Catalan fans when you go to Perpignan.

| Theres numptys and great people with every club, but there are demographics in society where you get more than others. Some of the bigger clubs carry more numptys due to there being a bigger spread and some clubs get 'hangers on' who jump on a bandwagon. The city of Hull certainly seems to have its problems when it comes to fan behaviour but by the same token there are some absolute pr**ks following my club too, same with any club but moreso when there's a modicum of success floating around

| Every club has a few idiots and they're the ones that get noticed; it's the old 80/20 rule in action.
What's important is that incidents are dealt with properly on the day and crucially, that the clubs in question take steps to ban those individuals who let them down. I'd also suggest that every idiot who starts windmilling after a few too many beers or seems intent on winding up opposition supporters by verbally abusing them or chucking beer/food is surrounded by people who know them, observe the behaviour and yet choose to do nothing about it - that's a shame.

| Some good pictures in the Warrington Guardian of some of the 15 HKR idiots from yesterday. Let's hope that the club does something about them.

I remember Saints playing them at Knowsley Road a few years ago and they ended up fighting between themselves.

| I was hoping for some positive stuff on here, so ill give you a couple of anecdotes.
The last time we played Leigh in the top flight, our coach driver got lost and in order to get to the ground in time for kick off, we picked up a ranom Leigh supporter about 3-4 miles from the ground, who happily got us in sight of the car park and then asked if we'd drop him at the pub, which the driver did. Cracking lad, could not have been more helpful, now you wouldn't get that in football !

On topic and all idiots aside, I have a lot of time for Cas whether that be the club/place/fans/team
Not that it really matters - no one is really better than anyone else.

| There is a simmering swell of crowd violence in league at the moment. The Hull clubs are followed by some very dubious characters who are too aggressive in their mannerism to cope with a sporting contest and the banter that goes with it. But it's not just the Hull clubs, Warrington have also got a growing section of complete idiots and there are confirmed stories of people being assaulted on their way out of the HJ, particularly on the walk back to the train station. Saints, probably due to the biterness of losing all the time, regularly have a lot of interfighting at the Grand Final.
Wigan, although they will deny it, are also associating themselves in a bad way. This 'Brigantes' Ultras group they have going with it's skull imagery and balaclavas can't be a good thing as it will attract the wrong types, both from Wigan, with recent vandalism cases cropping up, and externally with fans of other clubs seeing them as something they perhaps do not intend to be.
Obviously it's not a widespread problem at the moment, but it's one of those things that will fester and grow if left to by the clubs, police and RFL.

| If you had asked this question last year I would have said Crusaders without hesitation.
Now I'd probably say Catalans, incredibly passionate.

| Every club has it's idiots, but I'm certain every club has a large majority of decent fans.
Even Leeds fans are mostly friendly, and i've always had good banter at headingley.

Hard to ban someone because of a still photo? Did the police arrest them and is there CCTV?

| I daresay the testimony of the coppers who led the scrotes out of the ground would be enough to ban them - thats even if there isn't CCTV etc.
To get back on topic though, I would say after long and thoughtful deliberation, I have decided that it is in fact Wakefield who have the best supporters.

| hull bashing again i see. ok, no excuses. im utterly embarrassed and will not condone anything rovers or indeed my beloved Old faithful have done at any time. ill will however try and shed some light on why i think an ugly element exists in hull, firstly getting away from rugby, hull generally has a chip on its shoulder due to always being the butt of the joke. with out any self analysis taking place and with out even realising it i think the attitude can sometimes be "if you brand us bad, bad is what we'll be".... but specificely rugby fans, i reckon the intense hull rivalry has something to do with it. here in hull the bragging rights hang so heaverlly over our heads that its not just who wins the 3 derbies a year, not just who is placed higher in the league, but each and every SL match. FC lost to reds on this friday n my first thoughts was, "God! i couldnt bear it if rovers beat Wolves, ill never hear the end of it at work this week" now this kind of stress to an intelligent well balanced sober fellow is not a problem. but to the much talked about 'drunk minority', this might just be breaking point. silly, yes! what can be done? well im sorry to say it but restricting the booze intake could be a quick fix.

| back on topic. as somone else said. ive got a real soft spot for cas. fans team groud the lot. but generally each and every where i go (except HKR, sorry just being honest) is a pleasure.
Bradford is an interesting one for me. during the Robbie Pule era they where the most sickly fans going. i might get blasted for this but it was way too family oriented for my liking, more like being at a creche watching along with a load of pushy mothers. but now that there even worse a rugby league team than we are, their fans are top draw. and that pub right out side the ground on the round about is a cracking little boozer, with good banter on tap.

| Hudds is a funny one. Genuinely friendly fans, but you get the impression that they aren't quite as fanatical as the other top teams'; possibly because they are mostly new fans with little sense of long standing inter-club rivalry. Is that a good or bad thing? That infamous banner didn't do them any favours at Warrington last season either.
The stewards at Hudds are also more friendly and helpful than the rest.
