| non-existent it appears.
Early talk of Stobart's Super League have died a death. Stobart lorries driving up and down the country with the Super League Logo emblazoned on their carriers proved too big a gamble for the RFL.
So what are we left with?
Heinz Souper League or some mickey mouse company like Pro-Biz?
Even Nosey Parker seems to have no clues on the identity of the next sponsors.

| Engage were announced 3 days before the start of the season last time.
I don't care how long it takes as long as we find someone good who's willing to pay the right money.
Who's up for RLFANS.COM Super League?

I agree its no time to panic, making an announcement like that a few days before Xmas (with the media and the peoples minds elsewhere) would be pointless.
as much as I obviously would like SL to get as much money as it can...we could do with a company that provides exposure. Having thousands of Eddie Stobart lorries going up and down the country all year with the SL logo on for example would be fantastic publicity for the game.

| what they are missing out on though is getting league sponsors name on replica shirts and hence being more widely seen. last year all shirts had the league sponsors badge on arms. looks like this years we're back to only player shirts having the SL badge so the sponsors get less exposure and presumably have to pay less.

How are they going to do that on all the replica kits already sold?
Of course they will add them to the players shirts. But they miss out on 100k+ people walking around with their name/logo on their sleeve.

| Carnegie will be pulling out of the Challenge Cup next year so I can't see them going for the Super League.
Don't see why everyones moaning about Heinz. They are a massive company, much bigger than engage ever would be. Still, I'd love to watch the Fly Emirates Super League or the Stobart Super League

Carnegie, as in Leeds Met, have massive problems on the horizon. Not a chance I'm afraid.

| There was a rumour going round that Emirates were touted as potential title sponsors, though quite what they'd get out of us in the deal is beyond me.

| Seems that Fly Emirates are interested in Super League as they are shirt sponsor for Warrington's trip to Oz. Rather than Bensons for beds.

know nothing about this website attached, but rugby league is mentioned in three different guises as one of emirates sponsors. in what capacity, it does not say either. seems it was updated 6 dec. all the other teams and events mentioned appear true, but some do not look to have been updated since 2010. interesting if indeed true.

they have already been announced, but whether just doing the signage counts as "a mega deal". could be more to come from them.

| Fly emirates would certainly be a good sponsor and could possibly help take some of that tag of being a 'Northern' sport.
If Heinz got involved as just 'Heinz' rather than 'Heinz Big Soup' (which seems abit tacky) id be all for it.
