| Its saying it looks a straight swap for Ellis and Carvell on the sky sports website.
Is it just me that think Heighinton out for Ellis with Carvell on the bench would be a better option.
Dont know if its becuase ive just not noticed him, but he is the only player I dont think has impressed.
Wilkin should definitely start after last weekend imo.
11. wilkin
12. westwood
13. ellis
NICE
jjb
morley
carvel
widdop (used effectively)

| Drop Morley perhaps? He's been pretty unnoticeable.

On the eve of his 50th cap? In the Four Nations Final? Bagsy not me telling him!
It'd be Heighington for me to miss out for me too. It's the first time I've really seen him play and to be honest I don't think he offers an awful lot other than 50 minutes of graft, something we can get out of JJB, Westwood, Ellis and Wilkin plus a lot more besides

| I would leave out Heighinton... he hasn't really done anything of note, and wont be near the starting 13 when everyone is fit.

| Drop Heighington. Dropped off several tackles last week, plus was slow getting back into the line. Just looked lazy.
For me:
Graham
Roby
Peacock
Ellis
JJB
Westwood
Morley
Carvell
Wilkin
Widdop
(backrowers can be swapped around, obviously).

| Heighington has a decent workrate but then again so does Ellis
I would bring Ellis in the team ahead of Heighington and leave the rest intact. Doesn’t really matter if its Ellis or Wilkin at 13 as we see Tomkins and Roby packing down at loose so we need three mobile back rowers with a reasonable work rate. Its Wilkin or Heighington as the choice for me and I would opt for Wilkin
I like the idea of Morley, Carvell and JJB on the bench as they all add some momentum when they come on

His stats are better than Heighinton's. I'd play them all and drop Widdop. No point having him on the bench as he's only there to cover injuries and Ellis and Wilkin can do that just as well.
Ideally we should have started the series with Widdop at 6 and Sinfield at 13 instead of Heighinton, but we didn't and can't change it now.

| But Heighington plays in the NRL. He must therefore be some kind of super human rugby demigod.

| Id drop JJB. Not by much; him and Wilkin have both impressed me this series more than I expected but I just feel Wilkin and Heighington give you a little more. Just personal though, its a close one

| Either Heighington or Wilkin for Ellis, preferably Wilkin (or both)
I'd also drop Yeaman

Wilkin doesn't offer anything? Show me another second rower (bar Ellis) who would have the presence of mind to get the quick pass out to Yeaman to create Briscoe's try last Saturday?
Ellis, Westwood, Wilkin is a great back row. The perfect mix of power, work and flair, nicely complemented by Sinfield in the halves too.

FFS there was nothing special about wilkins pass it wasnt exactly a Gene Miles type basketball pass was it.Come on.wow give him a test spot cos he passed the ball when he should of done.He loses collision all tackles.Never breaks the line and makes hardly any yards.,and he also seems to kick the ball downfield straight down the fullbacks throat...
Dont get me going about sinfield either.Bad organising in the 1st half last week and also made some bad basic handling errors.Hes too slow for number 6 too.

No, but it was a very good pass that created a try scoring chance, just like his pass to Tomkins at Wembley for one of Hall's tries.

True, he offers an emergency kicking option that Heighington doesn't.

Ahhhh, you should have posted this first then I wouldn't have bothered replying. Or just start your posts with "I know very little about RL, but . . . . "
Rarely has a GB/England team looked as well organised as this one with Sinfield in the halves, and that's despite playing with a headless chicken (albeit a very good one) at 7.
