Who is in the 17 for tomorrow? The paper I read today says McGuire and Carvell have been brought in for bench spots.

The 17's unchanged, they're part of the 19 man squad. For some reason they've been calling it a six man bench, which is just confusing.

I wouldn't be surprised to see atleast 1 of them in the 7 tomorrow.

Carvell is not a Test player, if he was he would have made his mark beyond his couple of Tests years ago.
At 30 he is past whatever his best once was.
If he was good enough in his day and wanted to show "those arrogant Aussies" what he could do he should have asked his Agent to see what NRL Clubs were interested in him like Ellis and Burgess did.

I really hope Carvell gets his chance, he has been outstanding this last season, big and strong with great go forward, and, can offload under pressure. The one thing he, and we, are desperately short of is more BIFF in the big lads. I know it's going back a few years, but, KEVIN WARD is the kind of bloke we could really do with now, he used to frighten the Aussies to death.

Why waste another one by having Widdop on the bench? How he's not in the starting line up is beyond me.

The fact it becomes personal with you says more about you than anything else.

Earlier this year as a distant follower of Super League I was really interested to see new teams pushing the usual handful of teams that win everything each year.
I watched how Warrington progressed and it looked like it was going to be their year at one stage.
As the players they have are getting old and beyond their best and others will be leaving I hope they win bugger all.
I will probably get my wish.
