They always argued that they were the team for Wales but I can't see how they are ahead of Scorpions now.

It was probably the right choice. Cambria sounds better but North Wales can't be misunderstood by the geographically illiterate.

Widnes Crusaders would be better , they could have been a ' feeder ' club then

Love the choice of name, makes complete sense and I hope it's a success - seen Crusaders a few times over the years and you can't knock the passion or commitment of their fans.

And his coat of arms is my avatar. He will rise again when Wales needs him. Maybe next Tuesday.

i believe he also had aberystwyth castle built, much of which remains to this day. i spent many a sunny day at university chilling in those ruins.

I think having a North Wales team and a South Wales team in the same division makes absolute sense at this stage, and it's good both teams have identified with those regions in their name as it should lead to a rather unique rivalry.

Nice name choice and I hope they can make a good fresh start under the name.

My one question would be, what's happening to the North Wales Crusaders team that play in the Gillette Youth League? They used to be a feeder club to Crusaders so I presume some of their places will play in the team next year...

yes the north wales crusaders u18 team is carrying on with the new team and some of the older players will be in the senior team for champ 1
