last night at warrington proved for me yet again that RL fans are simply the best and showed what the game is/should be all about.
the mutual respect,carmaderie and friendship shown last night was truly awesome and something i wont forget for a long time.
thank you huddersfield and warrington fans for showing why rugby league really is the greatest game!

Newsflash, sportsmanship in defeat has been done before. Saints fans forming a guard of honour to applaud Hull FC back to their coaches after the semi final a few years ago.

If anything Huddersfield appologetic turn out and performance just suggests the play off format is true expansive.

What a load of tosh....

Fair enough... It's great that most of us get along... but that banner... I couldn't believe that fans of another club can spend time putting together a banner to kiss the backside of another club. By all means applaud a rival team from the field if they have been outstanding... but that was a few steps to far for me.

Was the same last year when we knocked them out of the play-offs, their fans were wishing us all the best and encouraging us to win it .....there's a mutual respect between our 2 sets of fans and that why we did what we did.....they would do the same for us i'm sure.

Wire and Giants fans just have a friendly rapport that i've never seen with other fans.

why? cos 2 sets of fans actually get along without name calling and pettiness and no hostilities.??..like i said we have an excellent relationship with the Wire and we were happy to appreciate what they had done...they maybe rivals to other clubs but the mutual respect between Wire and Giants fans goes back a number of years now, sorry if no one else agrees but thats how it is !!

I listened to the attempted minute silence at Swansea today on Radio 5 live. The soccer fans couldn't shake off their scumbags tag. It lasted about ten seconds before the neanderthals started chanting and shouting. One of the dead they were remembering was a former chairman.

We are a world away from footy fans.

which makes it all the more reason to be proud to be a RL supporter when both sets of fans respect each other and the game as a whole.
yes RL is by and large a parochial sport but to criticise a group of fans for showing respect and admiration for another is almost soccer like.
