What would happen to city v country?

City vs Country is at thr start of May, isn't it? If so it wouldn't be affected by a mid-season gap.
Are they talking about three State of Origin games in the space of four weeks? Ouch!

Well city v country is the same weekend as the Anzac day test, so if they move one to the rep month they'd have to move the other.

The only problem you'd have is having your test match at the start of the month or you city v counrty at the end.

Or have City vs Country at same time as Origin(s). Would give players who aren't at Origin standard the chance to play representative rugby league.

City v Country is a trial for origin.

At present but I'm suggesting changing it.

If their trying to play a challenge cup style comp with out 110 rep players it would be doomed.
