I have found a link to a forum where someone is offering what seems to be informed comment. Unclear if he has seen the document itself. Is it a hanging offence to post the link?

Anyway, I doubt there is a superinjunction on reporting that there may be the odd interesting titbit lurking on the forums on the Vital Broadcasting site. Does look like just extrapolated opinion though, so don't think it adds much.

Just because its the second highest watched, doesnt mean this equals advertising revenue. No one wants to pay over the odds for their product to be beamed into the houses of 200,000 working class people, when they can baem into the houses of 100,000 land rover driving ex public schoolboys

NRL has the highest viewing figures of any domestic rugby competition in the world. Superleague has the highest viewing figures of any domestic rugby competition in Europe. SL and the Zurich Premiership have similar average attendances, and are approx equal 3rd in English footballing code leagues. We have a very marketable product. When, as in times past, one of the world's most successful businessmen, Mr Murdoch, shells out millions to secure our tv rights, you can bet he's on to something.
