That was winter season - a midweek game( remember them) and he was one of the 2 Subs ( not interchanges) against St Helens at Knowsley road

Still going strong after 17 years in the front row and back on top of the league

Yes a player deserving of that mention most certainly! He has never been the best, the fastest, the most skillful but has always played the game to the best of his own ability and doesn't often leave anything in the tank. Speaking with some of the Rovers lads Nick certainly is one on his own!!!

Very impressed with him since he moved down t'lane, last weeks performance in particular was something to savour. The benefit of his experience has clearly rubbed off on the rest of the pack too - a very astute signing and I hope he's up for another year after this one.

Was at Cas last week for the Salford match and had forgot he was playing his trade over there! Great servant of the sport and would have loved him in an SCR top. Every squad needs a bit of dog and he sure as hell provides that!!

One of the greatest characters in the game of RL, And a superb signing from Cas, He is more than pulling his weight on the field. And has had a great impact off of it. A true ambassador to the game.

Paul Johnson (Crusaders) made one winter sub appearance at Wigan in November 1995.

i think Adrian Morley made his debut for Leeds in the 1994-95 season and on a slightly different note Steve Menzies was a member of the last Kangaroo touring party in the Autumn of 1994
