The young outside backs in UK RL are definitely arriving on the scene - this game alone has Riley, Watkins, Jones-Bishop and Evans not to mention old timers like Smith and Hall

Watkins and Hall unfortunately pretty average today.

Clarke is also losing it. Last night he suggested that when Cudjoe grounded the ball well short it might be benefit of the doubt.

Eddie claiming Evans and Watkins could be a future England partnership. Someone needs to tell him that Evans is from Bridgend.

Still think Watkins will be a quality centre - for me he is developing some strength and will be an international player in 12-18 months

Watkins has everything he needs to be the as good as any centre in RL. Whether he will or not remains to be seen. Unfortunately the issues highlighted in youth rugby and over the past two seasons are still there, his ball retention and pass choice still isnt there. He is still very young though.

On leeds, i wanted to give Mac a chance, but the first 4 games of this season smacks scarily of 2006 imo. We are looking for the wonder try without earning our stripes. We are struggling up front and throwing it around like we are 4 points down with 1 to go in the backs.

im not going to write him off after 4 games but not every pass can be flat, not every hit up needs an offload and we need more structure.

All over now, not sure anyone could beat Warrinton in this sort of form.

Was expecting a cracker tonight but didn't get it. Leeds look very poor and make too many errors, they are not timing their runs well at all and they look easy to beat in defence. Warrington are a quality side but I don't think they will win super league untill they get a better 7, Myler is not good enough as a 7 IMO. Warrington also need to tighten up their defence. They are a team who would rather win 40-24 thans 24-6.... similar margin but I know what kind of results I prefer when the title is decided on play-off games. The only thing I enjoyed about tonights game was a couple of really high quality tries.

We've seen plenty of 'unbeatable' teams not even make the Grand Final before. Wire have a good chance this season, but are they a match for Wigan in a big game environment?

It all depends on injuries. Take Briers and Morley out of the Wire side and I doubt they would win too many big games.

To be fair, Morley has missed the 2nd half of tonights game aswell as last week against your lot, plus tonight we were missing Louis Anderson, Chris Bridge, Matt King and Ryan Atkins and still put 40 on Leeds.

Morley missed most of the first half too, never mind the second. We also won a lot of games without Briers last season too.

I'm not disputing the fact that you are a good team. I think there is a lot of reliance on Briers. Leeds are no great shakes at the moment. Their 'Morley and Briers' are both out.

Wire were comprehensively outplayed by Huddersfield in the first game. It's March and there is a lot of road left. Should make for a genuinely interesting Super League this term. Wigan and Warrington look good bets for a run at the top. Huddersfield have already proven they can beat Warrington when it matters and are two in a row against them. It's no more teams than usual competing, but at least they are different ones. Perhaps if Saints could pull a cheeky halfback signing from somewhere and the likes of McGuire and Peacock return Leeds could make a late push.
