| Any ideas when dates and venues are going to be announced for this years competition?
I'm sure it was announced earlier than this for 2009.

| Hopefully all of the Wales games are in Wales! That would be a great start.... market the hell out of them and grow the sport in Wales. Get a sell-out at Wrexham for the England game and have the other two at either Cardiff or Swansea.

Mistake if it is. No way will you get 90,000 into Wembley for a competition opener unless there are free coaches from the M62 and it's a tenner a ticket.

| The opening game should be Aus v NZ at the stoop.
I think all games need to be priced better this year. Tenner behind the goals, 15 down the side, 20 for the middle.

| Why do we want it at the stoop?
For all the Aussies? It's our comp.
Play it at the kc or Wigan and let season ticket holders of any club in at half price.

It has been a success there in the past. Just because it is at the stoop does not mean season ticket holders can't go and watch it there. Surely its better to have it where all the NZ and aussie folk live.

| When you say success what have the attendences been?
The Aussies can't be bothered to watch their national side in parramatta, why should we cater for them?

They held it there in 2009 to celebrate me having left the country....sold out Seriously, it was reckoned by some to be the best game of that tournament with a cracking atmosphere...

.....don't tell dally messenger, but most aussies in London actually own a wannabees jersey.....but are very proud of their herritage and will fill the Stoop with their Kiwi cousins. Would 15,000 roll up to the DW stadium to watch an anzac test? I don't think so.

The last game was pretty much a sell-out, give it another year and I can see people being locked out of the groun with the quality on show. I would be tempted to move it to a bigger ground in London though.

Loftus road? Terrible leg room but handy for the crims and co!
Doubt a premiership ground would be available.....

Is 15,000 enough? If you offered cheap tickets to season pass hders why wouldn't fans from Wigan, saints, wire, Salford and Sienese fill it?

It's only similar to the attendance at parra for oz v png, and half the crowd went when the curtain raiser finished.
In 2008 England v New Zealand was pretty well attended as it was competitive.

11,000 in a 22k stadium is not the same as selling out the 15k stoop. If england had played PNG in the curtain raiser we would have been lucky to sell 3,000 tickets........
Quote ="Sheldon"In 2008 England v New Zealand was pretty well attended as it was competitive.'"
15K in a 24K stadium isn't well attended......it sold less tickets than expected....and it wasn't as competative as the last ANZAC test played at the Stoop........
Australia v NZ played in London will get a better crowd than if it were played in an M62 ground.......fans won't pay for anything other then their clubs games or maybe an Australia v England game......sad, but true.
England v NZ in 2009 got 19,390..........do you really think Australia v NZ would get anything like that in the north?
