Alot of people are making a big deal about Willie Masons arrival, yes if he comes he should make a positive impact on the field for us but if he doesnt, we are still are going into the campaign with two quality S/R forwards in Newton and Galea.

To much has been made already about him, will he or wont he come. The squad is in pretty good shape even without Mason.

A bit kinder than the Guardian's review which included in Bradford's incoming players "..Ian Sibbitt (Salford), Gareth Raynor (jail)..".

Even if Wakefield avoid a deduction, I can't see anything but a bottom three finish for them.

You should see the mm squad, alot of players making there debuts.

I'm not sure how everyone has come to the conclusion that Salford have vast amounts of old player, as we got into this weekends fixture here's the over 30's League;

Our oldest player is 31,and the squad has an average age of under 25!

it is a good read but wigan certs for the Gf? they have the WCC to deal with this year and if they have a good cup run it's hard, as leeds and saints fans will tell you.
last year most people thaought leeds certs for the grand final but a crippling injury list and playing every weel till september put paid to that.
wigan are, rightly in my view, favourites but i reckon any two from 6 could reach old trafford this season.

Whats this Warrington "came close" business? They didn't get anywhere near the Grand Final. Failed miserably in both play off games.
